Just reread this. I saw it as a rec fic on KD-FB, and thought I'd check it out. I thought it looked familiar, and as soon as I started reading it, I knew for sure. Although when I looked through the reviews, both here and on MW, I found I hadn't left one. For that, I apologize. Back when it was first posted on MW, I rarely gave reiews, not knowing what to really say. Anyway, it was worth a second read. Chris Hobbs is truly a horrific person; one who truly deserved his destiny, such as it turned out. Glad to know the guy was attacked in prison. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I also saw on MW that you were given Featured Story on this one. That should tell you just how great this was. It really was a shame that they didn't follow through with finding the culprit on the show, but I think it was because the show show ended so soon after the bombing. So thank you for the perfect outcome to this villainous act. I really enjoyed it, as I do with all your writing.

Hugs ~ Cathy

Author's Response:

First, let me say that if anyone should write reviews it is you, Cathy.  I get so excited when I see that one is from you.  It's not because of the praise, although that certainly warms a writer's heart, but because you always bring up such interesting points in a story.  More than once I've been inspired by what you've commented.  So thank you for taking the time to write your thoughts on my work.  They are such a welcome treat.

Of course, I love everything about QAF, but there were gaps in some plots that left a lot to the imagination.   The bombing was certainly one of those things.  I agree that they probably didn't pursue it simply cause it was the final Season and the emphasis was on the results of the bombing, not the perpetrators.  In real life, a bombing like that would have been investigated thoroughly and the culprits hopefully exposed.

Then I got to thinking how perfect it would be if I could kill two birds with one stone.  I could make Hobbs suffer more than he did for bashing Justin as well as answer the question as to who was responsible for setting the bomb.  I am so glad that you enjoyed my version of this part of the QAF history.  Thank you so very much for your views.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

Oooooh what an interesting take to the bombing story, and one hat would have made much more sense. Loved what you did with this.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, Sally.  I was able to kill two birds with one stone with this story.   I was able to put forth my theory as to why Babylon was the target for the bombing as well as make that rat, Hobbs pay dearly for what he did to Justin.  I'm so glad you liked my version.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Love seeing Justice done.

Author's Response:

I couldn't agree with you more.  I've always hated that Hobbs didn't really pay fully for the hateful thing he did to Justin.  What better way to make him pay than to make him the one responsible for the bombing.  After all, his goal had been to kill Justin, not just injure him, so he was a killer in my book anyway.  Glad you enjoyed my version of the reason behind the bombing.  Thank you for your comments.  Huge hugs, Grammy
