Now this is how it should have ended. I like so many others, probably thousands of fans hated the ending. But my personal opinion is that when Showtime cancelled the show, the powers that be thought that if they left it with such a cliffhanger ending that Showtime would reconsider the cancellation and either bring it back with a new Season or at least a movie (like "Looking") only it just never has happened. I cannot understand why so many years later and fans still watching it on "On Demand", etc. that Showtime is still not bringing it back for the fans. You are a fantastic writer and I really, loved this story.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments, Mamab. The only good thing to come out of that disappointing finale for the Series was that it has inspired so many writers to create their own versions of how it ended. I've loved creating quite a few of them myself. And it makes me so happy when someone enjoys what I've thought up. I'm sure that there are a number of reasons why the Series has not come back, or even had a movie created. Although nearly all of the actors in the series loved making it, they have gone on with their careers and may not be able to contribute to QAF anymore. We are just lucky that so many of them are willing to get together for fan gatherings. I've never been able to go to one personally, but many of my friends have and I've enjoyed listening to their stories about it. In the meantime, we'll just keep the show alive with fanfics, fan videos, and re-watcvhing the series over and over again. Warmest hugs, Grammy
