Just read this story, and have to tell you how much I really liked it. I so badly wanted to write reviews, but since the story had been finished, I didn't really see the point. I love anti-Michael and anti-Lindsay fics, but really don't like them to have happy endings for them. I also love post-513 stories where Brian shows such growth. When I got to chapter 40, and was reading, from Brian's POV regarding the road trip, you said, standing there while he kissed me, I wasn't so sure about that statement. I haven't watched QAF for probably nine years, except for videos which I watch frequently. So I decided to watch that part of the episode. I was right. Brian initiated that kiss, so Brian kissed Michael. I watched as Brian DEEPENED that kiss, unlike the usual peck on the mouth. Michael had just been talking about how Dr Dave cuddled with him after they came still sticky with cum. And here was Brian, going after his twink pseudo-boyfriend who had run off to New York, kissing Michael for all his worth. Michael had such a dreamy expression on his face, and couldn't even open his eyes for a moment. So, watching this made me almost hate Brian, although I loved his character. Maybe after reading so much, I forgot how much of a shit he had been in the QAF show. Talk about mixed messages. No wonder Michael was so screwed up. So, after watching, I was happy Michael got his happy ending. It was hard to refocus on the father/Brian in chapter 41. Brian also called Michael his BEST FRIEND in chapter 41. Shouldn't Michael have been his 'oldest friend', because I thought Justin was his Best Friend.

All-in-All, I loved the camaraderia of the characters. Brian and Mel's friendship, Justin becoming a father, Drew and Emmett becoming parents (nice touch), and Deb and Carl getting married (icing on the cake). You did so well with this story. Thank you for writing and sharing it with of all us.  I look forward to continuing reading all your WIP's. I reread "He's Mine" after your last update, because I thought I was forgetting a large portion of the story, which I found out I was. So, keep writing,and I for one, will keep reading. You're an excellent author.

I swear you write some of the sweetest scenes.  Gus's "Do you mean Daddy" was so special.  I don't feel sorry for Mikey cuz he did do it himself and life is a process so there's hope.  No much but some.

Gus need never worry, he is loved by Justin.  The little ones love Brian, he is the only one that can calm them.  Mikey has come a long way.
