That's the problem with Michael he keeps expecting everyone to excuse his behavior because he is Michael the one everyone always placates and forgives.
He wants Brian and is using every excuse he can to keep himself constantly in Brian's life and in his face, he really doesn't believe that Brian could love, want, need and depend on anyone but him, everything he did was to push Justin out and keep himself in right next Brian Forever.
Michael is holding onto a dream that will never happen in the meantime he is destroying all the relationships around him.
He has been denied the chance to see his mom marry the man she loves due to his selfish behavior, Alex finally realized that hitting Michael between the eyes is better than handling him with kid gloves.
Alex is giving Michael one more chance to face the truth after this Michael really will be on his own.

I think Brian was overly nice with Michael. I would have kicked his ass knowing he was at a comic convention instead of hauling ass home to take care of his mother.
I'm so excited about Brian and Justin seeking Legal Domestic Partnership. In their case it's better than being married...although, I would love for them to do that too.

What an excuse for a son!!Michael really screwed this time..I think Brian better off without the sorry ass in his and Justin's life..Maybe he would get a clue when nobody he can go or care about him anymore,in order to get his life together..It's Michael's biggest issue is,before he expected one of the gang mostly Brian who fixes his problem and now nobody can do it for him so he doesn't have a clue how to organize his own life..Get real Michael!!Now your own mother can't even look at you??!!

Brian is scared that he won't be able to make decisions for Justin in case of an emergency and vice versa he wants the man he loves to be protected along with Gus, the new baby and Jenny while all Michael can do is think of himself.

Thank Goodness Carl is okay and that the family came to help Deb through this trying time, since Michael was too busy pouting or running to find out why everyone was calling him.
Happy that Brian told Justin the final truth now there are no secrets between them anymore.
Ben living at the loft is insignificant compared to Deb needing her son to comfort her while she waited to hear about Carl, he needs to realize that the world does not revolve around him and that scary things happen all the time, hiding behind Brian or his unwanted advice will not stop it from happening.

Oh Michael. and he wonders why he's havingso many problems. They are all self inflicted. He's wanting everyone to solved his problems for him, or even better, just sweep them under the carpet for no one to see. He goes to talk to Brian and whines and makes excuses. Then he runs off because of what he hears about Ben staying in the loft. Like Brian said, he's pissed because of the issue with the loft, nothing about Ben himself. I'm wondering if there really is any hope for the guy.
Oh NO!! Carl!! Oh thank goodness it looks like he's going to be OK, but oh man...what a fright. And deb...not being able to hear anything about him. thankfully his daughter gave her permission. Where is Michael? HE mentioned that he's a couple of hours away? Where was he going? Was he going to Toronto? Driving aimlessly? My first thought was Dr. Dave...but then isn't he still in Portland? I just can't imagine where he was heading to. I thought he was racing off to the loft....I guess I'll just have to wait adn see. :)
Nice that Brian told Justin the truth about hsi stay in teh hospital. All secrets are now out. A heavy burden lifted.

Michael doesn't get it. He still expects someone else, in this case Brian, to tell him what to do. Strange that Michael thinks talking will help him with his problems, it hasn't help yet. Oh dear, Michael found out that Ben is staying in Brian's loft. The shit is about to hit the fan. I was sad to hear that Carl had been shot and that Deb couldn't find out anything because she's not considered family. Perhaps this will change her mind about marrying Carl? So everyone ended up at the hospital but Michael. Where was he? I mean Ben's at the hospital so he's not at the loft. And he says it's going to take a few hours to get to the hospital. It's a mystery! At least Brian finally admitted he was at the hospital every night all those years ago. Your next chapter should prove very interesting.

'Help' is definitely not helping Michael. Justin really should buy Michael out of the comic but Michael wouldn't be agreeable since it's the only thing that really keeps Michael in Brian and Justin's life. Then for him to tell Justin he needs to see a therapist because he's ruining the comic by not talking to him... WHEW!!! Please write me into the story as a bulldozer that runs Michael over!
I really hope that Ben is moving on because there really is no hope for Michael. A person has to want help and it's clear that Michael doesn't. He wants everything ideal in his little world and that's just not going to happen. He's like an addict. Until he hits rock bottom and has nowhere else to turn, he won't make one right decision for himself.

What will Michael think when he finds out Ben is living in the loft? While Alex tries to get Michael to see why people were upset with the things he was doing Michael just twisted to they should have informed him of what they were doing. Is Michael really gay or did he go that way because his mother told him he was and because Brian was? He's one selfish dude. Alex's wanting Michael to think about things he did that caused problems isn't going to work. Michael doesn't believe he caused any problems. He's hopeless.

You know...I had high hopes for Michael when he had that appointment with alex. He seemed to be moving in the right direction. Alas...he just doesn't get it. It's everyone else's responsibility to make him happy. Never change. Keep things they way they were in teh past. He doesn't think beyond his own wants. It's not necessarily malicious in this instance, at least not entirely, but his selfishness and thoughtlessnes is what has been causing most of his problems. The fact that he stated he wouldn't move with Ben says alot about his thoughts on their relationship. He doesn't see that everyone around him hsa had enough, but he thinks they should all bend to his wants. So frustrating. I'm sure Alex is wanting to bang his head on something very hard out of comtlete and utter frustration.
Really not sure if there is any hope for Ben and Michael here. Not unless Michael has some incredible epiphany, like some light from teh heavens coming down upon him to enlighten him somehow. I think Ben has the right idea of living in teh loft for now. Pretty sure that's not going to go over well, but oh well.
