I think Mel is just mean to be mean... she has seen how good Brian is at being a dad even if she doesn't want to believe it... but still she tries to start a fight.

I read all the previous amazing stories, but I haven't commented for a while, so much to read and so little time and I'm sorry for that because you deserve to know how your writing is appreciated.
