Oh, Brian's last answer was harsh; I guess it's not only his pride/ego, his feelings were also crushed. Nevertheless, he convinced the doc to give Justin an appointment.
I hope Brandon won't try to find him in the meantime.

You sum it up perfectly. Brian is still resisting and is hurting Justin in the process. He's lucky Justin only wants him, and isn't tired of trying already.
