Let me take my blood pressure pills first, then I'll come back and tell you what I really think of the lesbian raptors and whineosarus rex

Author's Response:

Is it any wonder I was having so much trouble writing this chapter? Lol. TAG

Thank you so much for the update!!! So glad your muse is back.

Lindsey is nauseating with her verbal honey. As for Michael, it was already too much kissing. Eww...

Patience young fellow, TAG is preparing your arrival in the real life!

Author's Response:

Thanks for hangining in there and waiting for this new chapter! And, yes, I'm doing my best to set the stage for Justin's return . . . TAG

Welcome back! And what a comeback it was! I wanted to punch the Munchers and Michael in their throats. It really is sad to see what they really think of Brian in their words and deeds. I kept thinking 'Oh my God, why does he keep holding onto these people?' I could definitely understand Justin's frustration because I felt it too.

He was finally getting Brian to the point where he was actually thinking about forging his own path and designing the life he wants to live, instead of living the one Lindsay and Michael wishes for him, and then Michael's incessant and know-it-all whine penetrates Brian's psyche and undoes all of Justin's hardwork. AAARGGGGHHHH!!! UGH! Why can't Michael just go find his own life? Brian is NEVER going to want him! He's too damn needy and sychophantic but also a controlling asshole who knows just how to play on Brian's insecurities. Brian really does NOT need Michael in his life. Friends are supposed to enhance life not drain the life out!

As for Lindsay, she does the same but through faux flattery and obsequious behavior. She isn't a true friend either but a sponge who takes from him but never gives anything of real substance back. For all of Mel's idiotic (and untrue) pronouncements of Brian and his lifestyle, I can at least respect her honesty in her feelings. All she really knows of Brian is what she sees and hears from Michael and Lindsay, whose hero-worship and unrequited love cloud anyone's vision with their pathetic prose and heteronormative desires in Brian's direction. It really is sad that she- as a reasonably intelligent lawyer who is supposed to be able to discern between fact and fiction- has never taken the time to see beyond the myth that her blind partner and the imbecile who calls himself the best friend built, to see the man beneath the mask.

Justin has really got his work cut out for him, trying to undo the damage Michael and the Munchers have caused during this chapter. Poor thing!

Happy Writing and HUGS,

~Chelle

Author's Response:

Looks like I really got to you with this chapter, huh? LOL. You know, I actually did a hella lot of psychology research for this story and this chapter was my attempt to put a lot of that into action. I think you can really see Brian's Avoidant Personality traits as well as the projection of both Michael and Lindsey. Or at least, that's what I was going for. And, now that my stage is all perfectly set up . . .  off to the resolution. Thanks for hanging in there on this story. TAG

Frustration, yeah no shit! You're right Brian is just a beautiful mess....thank God he stopped himself & didn't fuck Michael....omg what a disaster that would have been. I'm glad you're determined to wrap this up, we have faith in you babe!

Author's Response:

Totally agree with you about the beautiful mess part - that's why he's so compelling, right? We all want to save him. TAG
