I figured I better leave my comment. It was so great to read this again, as there was so very much I didn't remember. I wonder how many thousands of stories I've read since I read this one. And yes, I believe it's a thousand.

I'll start with the lesser of evils... well, not lesser, because it was pretty awful. Sean Sapperstein... what a scumbag. No better than his uncle. The apple sure didn't fall far from the tree. Let's just hope that we have seen the last of the two of them. It's too bad so many years have passed. Justin should have really turned Sap in. I was just happy to see that Justin finally broke down and asked for Brian's help.

MICHAEL!!! God... I just can't express how very much I hate him. Talk delusional. Killing off JT and Dr. Ken... in order to give Rage and Zepher a chance, just as it should be in real life. Should I laugh or cry? Gosh, I really hope Ben reads that garbage... soon!!! The only problem is, with Justin giving everything to Michael, Michael can well afford to live on his own. Somehow, he has to be knocked down a few pegs. I was ticked off when Michael decided to take in the meeting with Connor and Brett, but all's well that ends well, in that case. So glad Michael FINALLY learned Justin is a wealthy man. You can't believe everything you read on the internet. God, I laughed!

The women in Toronto... I am NOT happy with Mel... (I want to write something nasty regarding her.) Is the next story going to change, or has your writing changed over the years? Is Lindsay really a good person, and Mel is evil? I really don't understand Justin giving Lindsay $11k... especially when he's aware of the new loan Brian has arranged for them. I'm VERY interested to know what that is about, too. I have started the other story, but have pretty much just reread the seven chapters that were a rewrite of this ending. I hadn't read that before I started it, so I was a little confused. I don't get to read too much outside all my WIP's that I read... but I will get through it. It's fun reading and reviewing on current stories, but it's also reading completed ones too. Just not as much fun commenting as often.

Well, for a first story, you did an awesome job.

HUGS  ~Cathy ❤️

All I can say is...Fucking Brilliant!

This storyline is totally believable and kept in character (not easy to do with a 10 year future timeline). I bow down to a truly amazing writer. Your insight into their minds is delightful. (Plus I’m not a Mikey fan, seeing him as the whiny self centered character he really is always makes me smile!)

Off to read the sequel! Thank you for hours of wonderful and nail biting reading enjoyment!

Author's Response:

Awww! Thank you so much for reading this labor of love! I really hope that you enjoy the sequel. Keep in mind that the first 7 chapters of it are like a gap-filler between chapters 9 and 10 of this work. It was a little strange trying to tie in the two since I was actually writing them at the same time. Hopefully, I made it all work and you will have many hours of enjoyment!

Happy Reading and HUGS!

~Nichelle

How could Michael ask Justin to draw that? He must really hate him.

Those two were made for each other. But somehow they can't seem to get it right. If they keep growing up I'm sure they will.

I'm glad they connected again. Hopefully Justin will be able to let Brian know what happened. Keeping a secret like that could destroy him.

It won't take Justin long to realize Brian isn't living there anymore. But what is bothering him?

Why can't Michael just concentrate on his own life. Our boys seem to have matured quite a bit in their outlook on a relationship.

Sooo hot. I'm happy they have Ted and Emmett on their side. Hopefully six.  Months in Europe will give Michael a new perspective.

I already love this story. Brian admitting that he misses Justin is a huge step for him.

I love Brian's inner thoughts; always a great pleasure to read what happens in his head.

Justin is so determined to end his pain, only it will never really end. I hope he will change his mind during those 90 days. Knowing how you worship Britin, I think he will, but how will it happen is a whole new story that I will jump right in.

The scene with Michael, Brett and Connor was dense and with very high tension; so happy that Brian got rid of Michael and then kissed Justin to claim him in front of Connor.

The text exchange was hilarious: Justin freaking about Brian being fuckless and Brian's ticks with his tongue and lips... hot, so hot!

Justin remembering was very difficult because of his reaction, but also very promising as he realized how Brian looked at him and what they have done that night. Very emotional part.

The Grease's line was very funny, because Brian actually did know where it came from.

I'm so disappointed with Mel.

The end was really difficult because the pain they were going through was huge and I could feel it. I also fear that Justin will find it's not worth it and will not want to fight what is coming with their relationship being in the open.

I want to take a contract hit out on Michael! Our boys are struggling so hard already they don’t need this shit. Please help them realize all they really need is each other. So just stop all this nonsense and move to Britin.

Okay I understand Justin wants success as an artist, but 5 + years is to long for anyone to wait. I have to question if he really wants a real relationship with Brian, or if Brian should move on? I hate the idea of them not together, but there already not together...

This is so sad that Justin felt he had to hide from
Brian. A year is a long time to go without seeing each other...

Okay I’m confused, didn’t Ted say something about them getting married as Brian left for the airport? But I loved all the hot steamy sex scenes. ~ Kathleen

Author's Response:

Hey Kathleen!

Glad you are enjoying the story thus far.

To answer your question, Ted was talking about before Justin left for New York. This is a post-series AU but the Time's Up series, (especially the first part) picks up 18 months after canon ended so there will be a lot of that mixed into the storyline.

Happy Reading and HUGS,

~Nichelle

Whoa! What a chapter! Hot, burning hot turning to full angst. I guess Brian found out what Ted asked him to do.

The song you used for the first part is so "accurate" for them, "straight to number one"... Self fanning...

Is it the first time they are together on this date?

They are so stubborn, both of them! They are on vacation and they start with a fight: at least, Justin's remarks are making their way in Brian's mind.

What a chapter! I can't believe how Justin might have been feeling, being away from Brian for so long and not being able to jump him as he would have done on every meeting they have. Especially in a place like Italy can provide. Such a waste.

At least, he was able to ask for what he needed from Brian and Brian was able to deal with it without questioning the reason. Brian has really grown up and matured.
