Something tells me that Brian remembers Ben. Hobbs won't have to worry about his future because he's going to spend it in jail.

Hobbs is soon to see the results of his hateful attitude, I can promise you that. And as for Brian and Ben, that part of this chapter is a nod to what actually happened in the series. I found it very amusing that Brian and Ben had connected long before Ben met Michael, and the scenes in the show when Michael was so disturbed by it that he imagined Brian in bed with he and Ben were actually funny to watch.
