I'm sorry but why on earth would Justin leave the state when it was so clear that Brian needed to know what happened between them. I can understand the guilt but wouldn't Justin want to apologie to Brian, even if it wasn't necessary at all? Just to see how he was and what he could do to help him? I'm so confused...

I'm so sorry you are confused by this, Glo. Justin's reaction is based on multiple reasonings. He is not only feeling tremendous guilt over what happened to Brian, but also devastation over Brian not remembering anything about him. In the next chapter, you may see more clearly why he felt it was better for Brian if he stayed away. As for leaving Pittsburgh at this time, he did that for his own sanity. He knew he couldn't handle being so close and yet not seeing Brian. He won't be gone for long, I can promise you that. Thank you so much for such an insightful comment.
