Yeah buddy! Get it boys! Yes, the more you try the better it gets! lol

So glad Mel is in Brian's corner, get that asshole Hobbs!

Author's Response:

Ah, I see that you are enjoying the attempts Brian and Justin are making to retrieve his lost memories.  And they will certainly keep trying until they have a breakthrough.  I can promise you that.  As for Hobbs, he may still be a problem but we know how well the Liberty Avenue gang can handle problems.  Next chapter will be up very shortly.  Thank you for the great comments, Gro.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Let's hope that Chris gets what he deserves and nobody else gets hurt.

Author's Response:

Oh, I'm sure he'll be sorry he tangled with Brian and Justin, and the full Liberty Avenue gang.  LOL!  More on that will come up shortly.  Thank you so much for your comments.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Just a quick ask... I started to read the story over again, as I wanted to be sure what Michael had exactly said when blaming Justin, as I couldn't remember him actually blaming him. Then I found he complained to Debbie. But, what I didn't find was when he removed the sketches from Brian's loft. Can you point me to the right chapter? I looked back on my comments, and I saw I left a comment I left regarding that, but it wasn't until chapter 9, but that's when I started reading the story. Looking back on all comments on both here and Midnight Whispers, I didn't find anyone else comment on that fact. Did I make something up, that wasn't in the story? Hope you can help,

Much Thanks, Cathy

Author's Response:

You didn't miss anything, Cathy.  I only mentioned Michael removing the sketches from Brian's loft the one time and that was in Chapter 9.  Actually, I'm glad you brought this up.  I need to explain the reasoning behind Michael doing that and have Brian confront him about it in a further chapter.  You are right that no one else took much notice of Mikey doing that, not even on Ao3, where I also post my stories.  Thank you for asking about this.  I really appreciate your observances.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Just wanted to tell you that this story showed up lst on MW and not here so I read it there then it came up here.  This is normally the site where I read stories  that are posted on both and didn't want you to think I didn't review.  So better twice to tell you it is wonderful, than not at all.  LOL

Author's Response:

Dear Mamab, I am happy to receive comments from you no matter where they are.  I always post on MW first simply because they are my original home base and I love them for all the support they've given me from the very beginning.  I do love that KD was created too so that I could reach even more readers.  Everyone has been so kind to me on both sites and I welcome all readers from both.

I am so very happy that this story is interesting to you.  I hope you will continue to enjoy it as we move further into it.  Thank you again for your support.  Warm hugs,Grammy

Oh Grammy! So very happy to see an update. I love this story!  It was good to see Michael kind of put on the spot. I do hope it all comes out to Brian how Michael treated Justin before and after the bashing. Brian needs to be aware of that stuff. Because when they do get back together dear Mikey needs to be put in his place from Brian. Good to see the rest of them so accepting of Justin's return. I'm glad all of them are so supportng of Brian's suit.

Much Hugs, Cathy

Author's Response:

Don't worry, Cathy, because Mikey won't be any kind of real problem for Brian and Justin.  They will have a lot more to be concerned with when it comes to Chris Hobbs.  He is not someone who can take his punishment like a man.  His petty mind will take him to a far darker place than ever before.  But of course, Brian and Justin will have the full support of their friends.  More on that coming up soon.  Thank you so much for another great review.  I appreciate it so much.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Sadly Hobbs is now cracked in the head and I'm sure you'll have him straightened out in no time.

Author's Response:

Hobbs is definitely falling over the edge with this new threat against him, which he is unable to admit is all his own doing.  Only time will tell how far he takes this whole thing.  More coming up very shortly.  Thank you so much for your comment, YumYum.  They are always appreciated.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Hi... I guess I started reading this story over on Midnight Whispers. I have a different user name over there, as I lost my email address to this site. Anyway, over there I made the comment about writing out reviews with weren't posted. I just realized all those posts were here.  I feel a little foolish... Oh well...  I will try to stick with one place.  Hobbs is a piece of cake. Is he a closeted gay?  Thank you so much for dedicating your time to this story. I really love it.

Hugs, Cathy

Author's Response:

To be honest, Cathy, I am tickled pink that I get twice the comments from you in this case.  You leave such delightful remarks and I love responding to them no matter which site it's on.  I'm glad you figured it out though, so you won't be worried about lost comments.  Don't feel foolish.  I'll bet every one of us has misplaced or forgotten something on the internet at one time or another.  I know I certainly have.  LOL!

My personal theory has always been, the ones who hate gays the most are the ones who are deep down unsure of their own sexuality.  A straight man who is comfortable in his own skin has no need to hate a gay man, or fear him the way that someone like Hobbs does.  I remember how, on the show Glee, that they explored that very concept with the character, Dave Karofsky.  He was the football jock who was the worst of the antagonist for gay Kurt Hummel.  Later on in the series, Dave came out as gay.  So yes, I personally believe that Hobbs is a closeted (deep, deep into the closet) gay man.  Which in no way excuses a single evil deed he did.

Thank you for dedicating your time to leaving me comments.  I appreciate them very much.  Warm hugs, Grammy

In true Hobbs form....blame someone else for his actions. He wouldn't be getting sued if he didn't bash anyone, asshole! Good for Brian!

So glad Brian & Justin are reconnecting! Reliving some wonderful memories together. Brian will once again, let him in.....

Author's Response:

Hobbs is one of those pathetic creatures who are incapable of accepting responsibility for their actions.  It's always someone else's fault.  The criminal courts didn't make him accountable, so Brian is going to see to it that the civil courts have their shot at him.  Hobbs will never be free from crushing debt if Brian wins.

Brian is finding out, slowly but surely, what it was that made Justin important enough to attend a high school prom dance for.  Talking it out is good, but other ways can be more fun.  LOL!  Thank you so much for your great comments, Glo.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Oh no cliffhanger and on a holiday weekend.  Will I survive until the next update?????  LOL  Great chapter.  Hope you enjoy the weekend.

Author's Response:

It was kind of mean leaving you hanging over a long holiday weekend.  But I can promise a bit of fun for the next week.  The whole gang is in for quite a surprise.  Hope that will make up for it.  Thank you so much for your great comments, Mamab, and I hope your weekend is relaxing and enjoyable too.  Warm hugs, Grammy

First, I want to say, is how much I like the concept for your story.  I've never read a story about a reverse bashing.  Also, thank you for not letting Ethan make a reprise role in Justin's love life. It's apparent, Ethan needs a dressing-down.  And, OH-So-Happy to learn the fortuitousness of my comment for the civil suit against Hobbs.  As so it began... the student became the teacher.  Thank-you... That line was perfection.  I assume it began with the rim-job... *smirk*

Author's Response:

Thank you very much for your comment on the concept of this story.  One night last year it just dawned on me how different things would have been if Hobbs had gone after Brian instead of Justin.  Of course, it did make more sense for the series to use Justin as the victim, but I thought it would be interesting to turn it around and make it all about Brian instead and how he would handle such a traumatic event.

Actually, I owe a huge debt of gratitude to another QAFer for bringing up the idea of a civil suit, when she questioned why they didn't have Justin or his family go after Hobbs with such a thing during the series.  It is definitely what would have happened in real life.  I'm so glad she approved of my plan to incorporate the plot into my story.  And there will be consequences for this move for one and all in the future.  See you then.

Oh, I'm sure there are lots of things that will occur between teacher and student and vice versa.  LOL!  Huge hugs, Grammy

OMG!!!  AGAIN... Your devious mind comes into play...   PLEASE don't let Justin get involved with Ethan. I hated him in canon, and the way in which you described him in this chapter... well, I DON"T want Justin in that situation. Hopefully, Brian intercepts Justin before Ethan has a chance to strike.   Brian needs to find out what Michael has been avoiding talking about, and about the sketches, and also the truth about Kip.

Author's Response:

All those things you mention will be showing up soon, outside of the truth about Kip.  I'm not so sure that will come out during my story, but the one thing I can promise is that Ethan will not play any part in messing up the chances of Brian and Justin finding their way back to each other again.   Hugs, Grammy

Yay for Justin...  and for Brian starting to having dreams and visions of his Sunshine...   I was thinking after I left my review for last chapter, what a homophobic asshole Judge Dixon was.  You just had do use that name, didn't you, as that was the name of the jerk teacher that Justin had. (lol)... Anyway, I'm glad Brian finally snapped at Mikey a little... I hope he gets enough flack from Brian that he returns to David. As you can see, I'm not a fan of dear, little Mikey.  One last comment, I really hope Brian will bring a civil suit against Hobbs, and gets a more lenient Judge, and make that insufferable prick pay.

Author's Response:

Even though Brian's conscious mind can't recall Justin, or who he was to him, his subconscious is starting to stir up memories.  Now all he needs is to recall those things while awake.  Actually, that is very observant about the judge's name.  Although I didn't base it on the teacher, it is ironic.  The name is based on a friend I had in the past who turned out to be homophobic.  Needless to say, our friendship ended, as I don't tolerate that kind of behavior.

I understand your feelings about Mikey because many fans feel that way, but you won't find me turning him into a villain.  Nor will I send him back to David, who I always did consider bad.  But give it time.  Mikey won't stand in the way of true love.  I can promise you that.

Love the comment about the civil suit.  More on that in your next review.  Huge hugs, Grammy

300 HOURS!!!  Oh, you naughty woman!  That's even less than in canon!  How is Justin  to survive this?  He's lost his adoptive family, HIS BRIAN, and his rage has intensified.  Will he suffer a breakdown?

Author's Response:

Whoops!  You are right.  I made a mistake by using 300 hours of community service.  I actually remembered the series using 200 hours, but after re-checking it, I see it was 500 hours.  But don't worry, because unlike in the series Hobbs will have more to deal with than the slap on the wrist that the judge gave him.

Justin is suffering a great deal right now, but give it time.  He is, after all, a very strong young man.  Huge hugs, Grammy

OMG!!!  SAD, PATHETIC CREATURE!!!  PLEASE!  Brian better soon change his mind!  I somehow think, that dear, pathetic Michael has had a reason for his reation...

Author's Response:

Don't worry, Bjluv, although Justin is suffering the weight of what happened now, things will change.  I do appreciate all your great comments.  Thank you so much.  Huge hugs, Grammy

PLEASE don't let Michael be an ass and blame Justin... causing more harm to come his way.  I noticed you don't have a anti-Michael tag, and although I love anti-Michael fics, Brian usually becomes the buffer. Justin is not emotionally strong enough to deal with a callous Michael.  I also hope the family stands beside Justin, giving him the support he needs.

Author's Response:

I don't use an anti-Michael tag in any of my stories because I never saw him as a villain.  He did a number of things I didn't approve of in the series, most notably at that party after the bashing, but I could not imagine Brian continuing to love him like a brother if Michael was a bad person.  I also understood where Michael's earlier jealousy of Justin came from.  I also could not see someone as good-hearted as Ben loving him so much if he was a bad character.  Thus, even when he says or does something stupid, I always redeem him in the end.  He will goof up sometimes in this story, but it all works out in the end.  Thank you so much for the wonderful comments.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Just started this story... and I already have fallen in love with it.  Your words were so expressive.  You could feel the emotion behind your words. I'm excited to continue reading this awesome fic, and your take on the event.  I hope we get privy to the courtroom drama, and that it turns out different from canon.

Author's Response:

I am so happy that you are checking out this story, Bjluv, and that you are enjoying it.  Thank you for such kind words.  You'll definitely be in the courtroom in the future.  I can't promise different results, at first, but there will be a twist soon after that isn't in the series.  I hope you will approve.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Thank you so much for such sweet comments, Mamab.  Brian and Justin have just barely scratched the surface of their past together, but now that the door has been opened they will have to explore more of those lost memories.  The ride may be bumpy at times, but it also promises to be hot too, as you'll find in the next chapter.  See you then.  Huge hugs, Grammy
