Poor Carl, in the middle of the fire; he doesn't have lots of possibilities here.
I fear for Blake and Diane: they have a few dangerous and greedy people after them and so is Ted.

Thank you so MUCH!! I'm really glad that you like it! I've been trying my hand at banner making for awhile. I'm not as good at it as Marny, and can never hope to be. But I'm growing! The center pic is of Judge Melanie Marcus; a very necessary change from the 'Mel' she was with Lindsay. Also, if you look in the bottom left corner, you will see who I envision as Diane in the picture with Blake. I was going to add the Docs in, but couldn't find a pic of Alex.

I really love this universe and am so happy to see that the guys are beginning to see Michael for what he is, a real snake. Feel bad for Carl as he really loves Debbie but Michael is causing havoc in even in her life. Hopefully she will come to her senses before she loses Carl too.

I was kind of drained after finishing Secrets and thought I'd wait until tomorrow, but as I was crawling into bed... I thought... Hell! I've been waiting for this chapter!
I'm looking forward to Mel, Diane's and Carl's 'talk'... and now have to wait five more chapters.. 🙄 🤪 🙃 ðŸ˜
I think Diane better get a restraining order out on Michael when he gets back to town. But then again with Kiki as a manager... she won't take no crap from the little insipid. I hope Diane heeds Carl's words... because, yeah... blackmailers just keep coming back for more. But it will be a while before Ted and Blake are back in the Pitts. Lots could happen before then.

Next chapter... B/J's POV... OH PLEASE... let the confrontations begin... I'm waiting for all of Michael's plans to be brought to light. Let him try and dig his way out while facing the other ten people in the room. Let Brian's POV tell Michael to get off the island and never speak to him again... restraining orders in place. Michael just has this inherent knack for ruining everyone's lives doesn't he. Carl probably thought when he met and married Deb he'd have someone to grow older with. I feel bad for gin but he'll be better off.
Diane has to try and find out what Tino's up to and get a warning to Blake. Dr. Crystal should have OD'd a long time ago. The one thing Ted has going for him is the backing of his friends. Even with Brian's past it's going to be hard for anyone toto get him and Ted using again.

Diane can't pay off blackmail cause it will never stop until all the money is gone and even in death they will hound their kids I relatives until their last dying breath.
Best to beat them at their own game by keeping the Power Position while letting them think they have it, Plus gathering more information puts them on the defensive while you are playing offense.
Diane is smart to make the best changes for the diner and having great people to help make it Fabulous.
Jennifer getting Ben to keep the house and make money will further help to severe the ties to Michael and Deb and give him a comfortable best egg for later.
Carl should just start looking for a new place because even with the threat of her marriage ending Deb is arrogant enough to believe that Carl will never leave her, even if she wavers for a second all Michael has to do is call and she will revert back to Bully Deb, so he should save himself the agony and just let her reap what she has sown while he finds his peace.
Jennifer was totally accurate about Deb t she doesn't deserve pity she deserves exactly what is heading her way right between the eyes.
