Haven't posted for a couple of chapters... HATE Mikey more with each chapter. Thinking Brian owed him an apology and explanation... Well... let's just say the guy is so delusional. So glad Brian gave Michael a much needed, firm... GET OUT! Then, after Ted ignoring him by not answering, Em to the rescue... Another, smackdown. So glad he told Michael to solve his own problem with Brian and Ben... It would have been fun to hear Michael's response when Em hung up on him. Maybe when the next chapter of, 'In and Out' gets posted we might. BTW... how late at night is it, if Michael was at Woody's for a couple hours prior to this? Isn't Ben's anger skyrocketing during the passing hours? Glad Mel pointed out to Em about the 'satisfaction on Michael's face'... if nothing else that should wake Em up! Great story. I can hardly quit reading. I'm actually glad I didn't start reading this earlier, as I don't have to wait for updates.

It's amazing how much Emmett knows of Mel's life. I was kinda wishing she'd told what it is she knows that they don't. But that would spoil the fun!

Out of the entire gang, I think Em will be the first to see the background and reasoning of the group as a whole... he's told Mikey off (about fucking time) and he knows a bit more of what he's getting into. Both Brian and Ted only seem to be holding onto Michael due to years of "habit"... Em doesn't seem to be clinging to that as much. I'm glad Mel called him.
I also enjoyed getting a little bit of back story in this section as well.
Write quickly... I want more of this one NOW!!! ;) <3

Omg Michael is such a conniving, selfish, piece of shit imbecile! I want to kill him...dead he really knows how to ruin a moment doesn't he? What the hell is wrong with Ben that he can put up with all his shit? He must not have any self-respect.
Cannot wait for the couples to be on this island and hopefully away from each other too.

Great key chapter! Mel is really an amazing person in this story. I'm so happy she decided to talk to Emmett, just when he needed a true and honest friend.

So will we find out teh truth soon that Mel was talking about?! My heart lodged in my throat in anticipation of finding out! I guess we will just have to await the next set of updates.
Thank goodness emmett let Michael have it as well. They all need to realize that their partners need to come before Michael. That if they have any hope at all of fixign their relationships, they need to prioritize their lives. Michael's priority is obvious. Due to Emmett's and Brian's treatment of michael, they just may be seeing the truth of things right now. Perhaps the blinders or, if not off, at least coming off. Ted...I of course hopeful. I just think the road tht he and blake have to take will be a bit more difficult. He seems to want the easy way out in a way. that's why he just caves to Michael. (why they all do)
Mel's openness to Emmett is a good thing. She's using all she's gleaned from her and Lindsey to hopefully help her family.
Have to say, major pins and needles as we await the next updates. Have said it before, but I know this is going to be an anxiety inducing story. Your gift and talent is astounding!!!

This was a chapter of revelations. I feel like I missed something. None of the kids are living? At least Mel saw what was happening with Michael. Now if everyone else can see it too.

Nope you didn't miss anything Phyllis. Gus and Jenny aren't in this. Gus passed when he was born which sort of caused Lindsay to become baby-driven. She's now married to a man but is still unable to carry a baby to full-term, despite numerous efforts. It's the one thing she feels is missing from her life. Mel, at first, was angry and heartbroken but in the end, decided to let Lindsay be happy, even if it wasn't with her. She could no longer play second fiddle whether it was intentional or not. So she moved back to the Pitts, became a judge and now is trying to save the couples from her mistakes with Lindsay.
