Brian on his way home to Britin from work spots someone throw a dog and puppy from their car in the lashing rain. Horrified he pulls over and gathers them up taking them home. There he tells Justin what he saw and they call Carl and their neighbour who is a vet. Brian plans on keeping the dogs but also tracking down the creep who did with the use of his dash cam. Thens our to be a future client of his from so he sets a plan in mention to let them know they didn’t get away with it. 

Brian and Justin are together, married and living at Britin. One day, Brian has to go out of town for a business trip. While meeting with the CEO of the company, who knows Brian is gay, suggests that since Brian's plane doesn't leave until the following day, he should check out the fairly new club in town. Brian has no intention of going, since him and Justin have been monogamous and kind of given up that lifestyle. When Brian has trouble falling asleep, he decides some fresh air is in order.

He ends up driving to the new club thinking he could get a foot in the door for Kinnetik. While he's sitting in his car debating whether he should go in due to the hour, he's sees someone that he can't believe going into the club. He waits a few minutes before exiting the car. Once in the club, he spots the guy, then takes a seat in the shadows of the club to observe him... it's Craig Taylor. Brian watches in abject horror as Craig is VERY into young boys. When he gets back to Pittsburgh, he decides to contact a private detective who is a friend of his to follow Craig to get pictures and videos of his exploits. He decides against telling Justin until he knows exactly what's going on.

Justin starts wondering what could be going on with Brian who seems to be taking private phone calls in his office. He's managed to hear snippets of conversations before Brian shuts his office door. After a few weeks passes, Justin has a recording device and video camera installed in Brian's office. Upon learning the truth, he decides to not confront Brian, waiting for him to come to him instead.

The story then leads to the underground world of Craig Taylor, and his sick exploits. When the whole thing hits the media, not only does this involve Craig, but Stockwell, Judge Russo, and Hobbs, SR., and any other villians the author chooses to exploit.

Lindsay was surprised when both Brian and Melanie readily agreed that he would donate sperm for the baby that Melanie would be carrying. But what happens when Brian not only attends all of Melanie's doctor appointments, but he also does other things like rubbing Melanie's stomach, feeling the baby kick, massaging her shoulders, etc., all things he didn't do with Lindsay? How does everyone, but especially Lindsay, react when they learn it's a boy?

The day of Mel and Lindsay's wedding... Justin goes upstairs to check on something with Lindsay and overhears her telling Brian to keep the White Party tickets himself and go and do what Brian Kinney does best... f*ck lots and lots of men. He gets angry that Lindsay is undermining him in his relationship with Brian, so when Brian heads downstairs and Justin sees him, he tells him he changed his mind and he's going with him, instead.

B/J spend the night drinking and drugging, so after Brian catches the bouquet, they think it would be funny if they got married, too.

What happens when they don't find the wedding certificate until after they get back to Pittsburgh? What happens when Leda shows up and there is more of a strain on Mel and Lindsay's relationship? What happens when Brian gets a call in the middle of the night from CPS to come and get Gus after they were called to the house because of the fighting? What happens when B/J decide to fight for Primary care giver in order to rescue Gus from the fighting and abusive relationship? Can B/J make a go of their 'marriage' and raise Gus, showing everybody that they can do the whole marriage/relationship thing better than the rest?

And what happens when the 'family' learns of their marriage?

As Brian drives off he looks in his rearview mirror and sees Hobbs coming up behind the two teens. He slams on his brakes, jumps out and yells Justin's name. Hobbs hits both Justin and Daphne before Brian can stop him.

He apologized for all of the other bull that went on between them but it was important since Brian's portion of the estate is to be shared by the daughter he never knew. 

Meanwhile Mel's last existing parent is dying. Her father tells her on his deathbed that although she was the daughter of his heart, she was not his blood. Of course she is reeling from this but unlike Brian, she wants to find her birth family. 

What will Brian and Mel do when they realize that their missing sibling has been there all along?

What if Brian's "no carbs after seven" rule wasn't just about keeping up with his "stud of Liberty Avenue" reputation but actually went a lot deeper than that. A lot of Brian's rules and ways of life have a LOT to do with how he grew up, and I believe there could be a very good story here. 

What if growing up, limiting what he ate was a way for Brian to stay in control?

What if Jack went on about how expensive it was to feed a growing boy, especially one that "ate like a horse."

What if Joan made passing comments about his weight?

What if starving himself took away from the pain that Jack was inflicting on him?

Brian is on a business trip to London when he accidentally discovers a time portal in the alleyway behind his hotel, which allows him to time travel between present day and the Second World War.

Justin is a young soldier serving in the US Army and has recently been sent to London.

The boys meet in 1942 and Brian at first hides his secret, eventually sharing it with Justin. He takes Justin through the time portal into the future, where Justin experiences the wonders of modern day life... which includes being openly gay and proud :)

I'm throwing this out there because I love season 4 gapfiller, and I really want a new story to read that's a little bit hurt/comfort, a little bit angst, etc. 

I would love to see some detailed gapfiller of Brian's POV of the Liberty Ride, from his motivation/decision-making process to meet the group in Toronto and participate anyhow (and why it was important to him to do it)...then why he kept going even after breaking his collarbone. His thought process behind what he said to Michael about "if I can survive this, I can survive anything." Then the two of them finishing the ride together. After that, maybe picking up with Brian and Justin at home.

Please no anti-Michael...I feel he was very much in the supportive friend role here, just as Brian was for him with the wedding.

I've never read or found anything that was very in-depth about this time period from Brian's point of view, and it seems like there are a lot of gaps to fill.

I'd love to read this...please someone write it!

Using his ‘emergency' key, Michael once again barges into the loft but this time he finds Justin fucking a trick over the back of the couch. Michael flies into a rage and pulls Justin off the guy. He shoves Justin causing him to fall and hit his head. Michael then shoves the trick out of the loft. Michael comes back in to berate Justin some more and sees the blood pooling around Justin's head. When a very naked Brian comes out of the bathroom and discovers Justin on the floor bleeding, Michael panics and claims to have seen their trick attacking Justin when he entered the loft.

What if the wrong 'someone' overheard Gui threatening Brian in the grocery store about staying away from Gus in order to make his and Lindsay's marriage look real? But when the police and INS showed up at Lindsay's about her marriage to Gui, Lindsay and Gui brought out all the pictures and documents showing their marriage and life was legit, making it so Lindsay really dug herself into a grave? What would happen to Gus? Would Brian have to take over raising Gus, or would he co-parent with Melanie?

But... what would happen when it went to court and this 'someone' who reported them turned out to be someone who wanted Melanie away from Lindsay. Perhaps Leda or Marianne? Would Melanie give them a chance?

Brian and Justin hooked up a few times before going their separate ways after realizing that neither of them is ready to settle down. Five years later Brian and his CFO, Ted, travel to London to set up the international branch of his advertising agency, Kinnetik.

Justin, who is now a successful artist as well as the creator of the most popular graphic novel ‘Rage', is also in London as the main artist exhibiting at a well-known London gallery for three weeks.

Brian attends opening night with a prospective client where he runs into Justin. They have a late dinner after the show. (They may or may not hook up although both are single.) The next day Justin goes missing and the only clue in his hotel room is a business card belonging to Brian Kinney, CEO of Kinnetik.

The Patients:

Brian believes he is Oscar Wilde. He also believes Justin to be his 17 year old lover Robert Ross (who is believed to be Wilde's first male lover).

Justin believes he is Michelangelo and that Brian is his model for ‘David'. The hospital provides him with clay as part of his therapy, so he ends up making a life size statue of a naked Brian as well as various knick-knacks of Brian's anatomy.

Michael believes he is Astro Lad and that Ben (or any man he becomes attracted to for a brief time) is Captain Astro. He also believes that Nurse Debbie is his mother, but she isn't.

Ben believes he is Jack Kerouac or Hunter S. Thompson (depending on the day and his mood) and is writing his next book... on any surface he can find once he gets his hands on something to write with.

Ted believes he is Pavarotti. He speaks with an Italian accent and sings opera all the time.

Blake believes he is Giuseppe Verdi and is composing his newest opera with the hope that Ted will sing it.

Emmett goes through phases where he believes he is Lana Turner, Judy Garland, Scarlet O'Hara and even a very gay Rhett Butler.

Drew believes he is the strongest man on Earth and tries to impress Emmett by lifting anyone and anything as often as he can. They constantly have to tell him to put Emmett down.

Melanie believes she is Florence Allen, the first woman to be elected to the position of common pleas judge in 1920 (she heard almost 900 cases) and the first female state appellate judge through her election to the Ohio Supreme Court in 1922 and who later became the first female federal appellate judge, appointed to the 6th Circuit in 1934 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Melanie is always quoting law and reciting cases that she heard as a judge.

Lindsay believes she is Snow White and refers to the others using the names from the story: Brian is the Prince (because he's so handsome), Justin is Bashful (because he always shies away from her), Michael is Dopey (because all he talks about is a comic book superhero), Ben is Doc (because he seems to be very smart), Ted is Sneezy (because she saw him sneeze once), Blake is Sleepy (because he never acknowledges her beauty, so he must be asleep not to notice), Emmett is Happy (because he seems to always be smiling), Drew is Grumpy (because he's always grouchy that he's not allowed to bench press the other patients, especially Emmett), and Melanie is the Queen/Witch (because she's always issuing orders according to law).

After Gardner and Stockwell leave the loft in Season 3, Brian storms out telling Justin, "Don't wait up." He even misses the 3 AM curfew.

The next morning two officers show up at the loft looking for Brian, who Justin finds passed out cold on the couch. They ask if anyone can vouch for his whereabouts, and Brian tells them he was drinking down by the river, alone, and wants to know what this is about.

It turns out Chief Stockwell was found murdered in his office, and Gardner has informed the police of the smear campaign found in Brian's loft.

Brian is a treasure hunter in search of a famous pirate’s lost treasure. During one of his journeys he and his crew come across an uncharted island and decide to check it out. Will he find the pirate’s treasure or will his treasure be the blond teenager who has been all alone on the island for many years?

Hoping to split up Brian and Justin for good, Michael gets a copy of the ‘fuck list' between Brian and Brandon and gives it to Justin. Instead of getting angry or confronting Brian, Justin tops each of the men on the list before Brian or Brandon; he even gets signed affidavits as proof from each man stating not only when and where they fucked, but rating Justin as one of the best tops.

How would Brian react to what Justin did?

How would Michael react if his plan succeeds (at least for a brief time) or fails?

Would Ben stay with Michael or leave when Michael's plan is revealed?

How would the rest of the gang react to everything? Would they behave differently around Justin?

How would Brandon react to Justin, someone he sees as Kinney's boy toy, being a better top than him? What if he felt humiliated and decided to teach Justin a lesson?

Refusing to deny that he is gay, Justin is kicked out of his home by his father and told never to contact them again. He is homeless for a few weeks, but eventually gets a janitorial job at a funeral home; he also assists the funeral director, when needed, in preparing the bodies for burial. Part of his salary includes a small room above the funeral home. Brian meets Justin when he brings the suit that Jack is to be buried in. Brian is intrigued by the beautiful young blond. Justin is equally intrigued by the gorgeous brunet who seems so detached from the death of his father. They strike up a conversation which leads to a budding friendship and eventually relationship.

How will Brian's friends react to Justin? How will they react to Brian, not only ‘dating', but dating someone who works with dead bodies? Will Brian be able to help Justin cope when one of the bodies brought to the funeral home is the father who threw him out?

Lindsay Peterson is an only child, who's a spoiled, rich girl, whose mother died a year ago leaving her to inherit everything.

Brian Kinney is a very attractive man who has always been secretly attracted to men, but has denied those feelings due to the religious upbringing he had.

Lindsay and Brian are getting ready to graduate college. For the last two years, Lindsay has been working on Brian to marry her, stating her father can open many doors for him and help him start up his own business.

When Lindsay's father unexpectedly dies and Lindsay has to go back to Pittsburgh, Brian goes with her. After the funeral, Lindsay has Brian come with her for the reading of the will, which she knows is just a formality.

But, what happens when they walk into the attorney's office and there is a young blond sitting there and when Lindsay demands to be told what he is doing there, the attorney informs her that this is nineteen-year-old Justin Taylor, your half-brother, an artist who was raised by his single mother.

But what happens when the siblings are informed that Justin has inherited everything, leaving Lindsay disinherited, so she has no argument to challenge the will as she wouldn't be a beneficiary. With the comment that her father stated, "It's time she grew up and started earning her own money."

But what happens when Lindsay can't help but notice Brian's attention hasn't left the blond since they walked in the room?

After Justin leaves Brian for Ethan, he sells his share of the comic to Michael, but Michael's attempts to keep the comic going fail because Justin isn't the illustrator. A few months later Michael discovers that Justin has created an online adult only animated Rage web series which is doing extremely well. Michael confronts Justin only to learn that when Justin sold his share of the comic to Michael he had retained all the copyrights to the images, characters, storyline, etc. In his desire to ruin Justin, Michael turns to Brian for help. Will this reunite the former lovers or were they secretly seeing each other already? Or maybe they never truly split up at all?

Even though it's been a few years, Michael is ecstatic to learn that someone has plans to revive his favorite superhero comic, Captain Astro; until he finds out the ‘someone' is Justin Taylor, the man who ended Rage.

Or maybe it was a sex video from the 60's or 70's. Is the woman Debbie, Jennifer, Joan Kinney, or Nancy Peterson?  (Repost of Chapter 42 from previous Plot Bunny thread)

Brian Kinney is in prison for the murder of Michael Novotny. He was convicted on circumstantial evidence alone; there were no eyewitnesses and Michael's body has never been found.

Melanie Marcus is Brian's attorney and believes that he was framed. She also believes that Michael is still alive. While working on his appeal, she is also working with a non-profit group that fights to get justice for people wrongly convicted of a crime.

Daphne Chanders works for the non-profit group while attending CMU for a paralegal degree. When she reads about Brian's case, she asks to help Melanie and tells her about her best friend who is a private investigator.

Justin Taylor is a newly licensed private investigator. He becomes intrigued with Brian's case after talking with Melanie and Daphne. However, Melanie thinks he is too young and inexperienced to handle the case so, Justin decides to investigate on his own. He uncovers enough evidence to gain Brian's release pending a new trial. Together they solve the mystery.

So...

Is Michael alive and if so, did he frame Brian?

If Michael is alive, why did he frame Brian and did he have an accomplice?

If Michael is really dead, who framed Brian and why?

And which of Brian's friends stood by him, trying to help discover the truth of what happened to Michael?

Brian spends a few months in Europe setting up the international branch of Kinnetik. During that time he meets Justin, a young artist also from Pittsburgh, who is in Europe finishing his Master's Program in Fine Arts. They fall in love and get married before returning to Pittsburgh. What will Justin think of all the comic book/superhero décor in Brian's loft when they arrive home and he sees it for the first time? What will Brian do when he learns that not only has Michael moved into Brian's loft while he was away, but Michael has been telling everyone that he and Brian are married?

Our favorite QaF characters are actors/directors/writers, etc. on a very popular nighttime soap opera (just so things can get a bit more sexual on screen than daytime soaps):

Brian is the lead actor. He is gay but his character is straight. He is/is not openly gay in his personal life.

Lindsay is the lead actress. She is bisexual but her character is straight. She is/is not bisexual in her personal life.

Justin is the newest actor to join the show. His character is supposed to only be a recurring character but the audience response to him is so great that his character soon becomes more integral to the show. He is openly gay in his personal life.

Michael is an actor. He is gay and so is his character. He is/is not openly gay in his personal life.

Emmett is the wardrobe supervisor for the show and Daphne is his assistant.

Ted, Leda, Debbie, and Ben are the writers for the show.

Vic and Melanie are the directors.

Cynthia is Vic's assistant and Blake is Melanie's assistant.

Other cast members (Vance, Ryder, Tracy, Brandon, Drew, Kiki, Mysterious Marilyn, etc.) could be actors, producers, set directors, etc. on the show.

Brian and Lindsay's characters are a couple on the show. Lindsay has plans to make it a reality. Michael wants Brian's character to be written as a closeted gay man who comes out of the closet to be with Michael's character with the hope of it becoming true in real life. Brian is very attracted to Justin.

A scene I would really like to see in the fic:

One day Lindsay doesn't show up for rehearsal and her stand-in isn't available, so Justin, the newest actor to the series, stands in for her. The scene calls for a lot of kissing, much to Brian's delight since he has been attracted to Justin since his first day on set. That first kiss starts a lot of fires!

Everyone is stuck wherever they were when the quarantine started. Maybe something like this...

Brian is out of town on a business trip for Kinnetik (one of the most sought after ad agencies in the country)

Justin is out of town for a showing (now a very successful artist)

Michael is out of town for a Comic Con

Ben is out of town for a teaching convention or maybe a writers' convention (maybe he is now a very successful author and no longer teaching)

Ted is in Florida helping his mother relocate to a warmer climate

Blake is out of town at a counseling seminar

Emmett is out of town handling a large celebrity event/wedding (one of the most sought after event planners)

Drew is out of town on Ironmen business (maybe he's now the coach)

Melanie is out of town at a CLE seminar (lawyers are required to have a certain amount of continuing education hours each year to keep up their license)

Lindsay is in Toronto with Gus and Jenny (or maybe somewhere close to Pittsburgh if they moved back to the States, but not actually in Pittsburgh)

Debbie is in Pittsburgh (she now owns Liberty Diner)

Carl is at his daughter's house - she just had a baby

Hunter is on tour with his band

Our favorite couples are now legally married; maybe even Brian and Justin. I think most fans would like to see them either married or at least still together. But Michael and Ben, Ted and Blake, Melanie and Lindsay, Debbie and Carl are all happily, and legally, married. Since Emmett was not paired up at the end of the series, and most fans like to pair him with a now over 21 Drew, I decided to add Drew as Emmett's husband.

I really don't know if I am on the correct point to add my wish to read something like an Alpha-Beta-Omega QAF.

Here goes my suggestion: 

Brian is of course an Alpha. Justin is an Omega - a rare, seldom kind, and male Omegas can give birth. 

Maybe in this story Brian refuses to confess he is in love with Justin, not  knowing or ignoring the consequences for  Omegas, who can only bound once to their true Alpha ... or get  hurt, maybe even die.

Justin is too proud to play the little Omega in Distress card ... 

I wouldn't mind some Anti-Michael. 

But ... only Happy ending, please, meaning at the end Brian & Justin together and in love, I can't read anything else. 

Why I don't write that story by myself? Unfortunately my English is too bad.

What does Brian do when he realizes he made the worst mistake of his life, when Justin really does disappear?

Melanie disappears with Gus. Lindsay, who was supposedly at a teaching conference, doesn't return and she isn't answering her cell phone. Brian takes a sabbatical from work and goes in search of them thinking that the women have taken off with his son. After several weeks, he locates Melanie and Gus, but before he can find out why Melanie took off with Gus and why Lindsay isn't with them, he has to get past her very protective and very wealthy cousin, Justin Taylor.

Brian and Justin haven't seen each other for some time (maybe since the Ethan matter or maybe after Justin moved to NY) and unbeknown to either of them they are on the same flight when a murder happens. They are brought together when it turns out the victim is a corrupt judge from Pittsburgh named Roy Russo.

Or maybe they are traveling together for business/vacation/honeymoon when the murder takes place. Either scenario would be very interesting.

Could be either a taxicab company or an express delivery service and they ride bicycles instead of driving vehicles. Think of the situations they could all get into.

Vic - the owner of the business and father figure to his employees

Debbie - the sarcastic dispatcher and mother figure to all

Brian - the seductive stud and top driver (everyone wants to break his records)

Justin - the homeless art student and newest driver

Michael - the comic book nerd and worst driver due to his daydreaming

Emmett - the southern sweetheart who hopes to become a chef/party planner

Ted - the accountant for the company and part-time driver

Ben - the mechanic and part-time driver

Melanie - the wannabe lawyer (ran out of money to complete her degree) and second best driver (has a healthy competition going on with Brian)

Lindsay - the office secretary and part-time dispatcher

Brian, Michael, Emmett, and Ted attend a four day White Party together and discover that Brian may have some very strong competition for top stud in the form of a beautiful, blond college senior, named Justin Taylor. Will Brian defend his top stud reputation by trying to seduce Justin into giving up his virgin ass? Or will Justin seduce and claim Brian’s virgin ass, thereby becoming the top stud? And what about Brian’s friends; will they interfere or try to score with the beautiful blond themselves?
