Just a Walk in the Park

36/24

"Hey baby."

"Hey Bri."

"You have anything very important going on this weekend?"

"Nope. Whatcha got in mind?"

"Want a weekend in the city? Visit some museums, watch me actually eat an expensive dinner or two?"

"You mean like the two of us, away from Pittsburgh?"

"Uh huh. The two of us alone."

"No gang of merry men?"

"No gang."

"No bickering munchers?"

"No munchers."

"No slinging hash?"

"No hash anywhere unless you're eating it with eggs."

"Can I bring a sketch book?"

"Bring two."

"Uh Brian, is everything okay?"

"Yes. Just thought you and I could use some alone time. Share a bottle of wine, eat oysters, be romantic."

"OW!"

"Justin, what the fuck was that?"

"Just pinching myself, making sure this isn't a dream."

"No dream. I think I woke up."

"I don't follow you."

"Sure you do, Sunshine. Alright, quit glaring at me. I just mean, I know what's important to you, for us. You and me together, sans family accompaniment. No Brian on the prowl, no queening out or drama princess moments. Just you, me and a little NYC culture."

"Oh Brian!"

"No water works, baby. Okay? I just want to see you happy, with that beautiful smile on your face, for two whole days. Just do me a favor and make sure I don't make an ass of myself by mixing up a Monet with a Manet. Deal?"

"Deal. Thank you Brian. I love you."

"I know, me too. You, I mean, love you too."

"Brian, this is you, right. No pod person, if you got cut, you'd bleed red, not green."

"It's me. Red blood and all."

"I'd love to go."

"Good, now go pack. I may even let you drive, part of the way. I'll drive when we get to the city."

"Wow. Hey Brian, have you seen my PDA?"

"On the desk. Why?"

"Just want to record this, the day Brian Kinney grew up."

"Come here, you little scamp!"

*giggles*
