Found this hiding in my files. I have no idea when I wrote this but it was probably going to be longer. When I re-read it, it seemed finished enough for a short one-shot, so I'm leaving it as is. Gets the point I was trying to make across, I think. 

It's been forever since I've felt like writing - or even reading much - and I apologize for the long absence. But health, politics, pandemics, war, pestilence... life. Hope y'all still have a cup of coffee for me.
