To say I'm obsessed with Queer as Folk would be a major understatement. I never saw the show while it was on Showtime, I found it Spring 2008 and was hooked after only one episode. Not even one episode, maybe 10-15 minutes of one show. Even the great Brian Kinney couldn't have designed an advertising campaign that could sell this show so completely, so fast if he tried... Oh wait a minute... I guess he did now, didn't he...
I love the supernatural twist to the Brian and Justin romance. Very different from other stories and it's well written and entertaining to read. - samcdee
Justin moves into a new loft apartment in preparation for starting his first term at PIFA. Upon arrival, he finds a “Welcome Letter” from his new landlord, Brian Kinney. But, when he goes to respond, odd things start to happen. Can these two men reach across time itself to realize their love? (Loosely based on the plot of Alejandro Aresti's The Lakehouse - one of my all-time favorite movies.)

I'm thinking maybe Brian is really a ghost, and that maybe since Justin wasn't part of his life in 2000, it's possible that he didn't survive the scarfing incident... I know, just read the fic... ha, ha, ha...

He is living on the streets when he is found by the Liberty Diner gang and is rescued - malnourished, exhausted and ill - and taken home by Brian. I love how caring and understanding Brian is being. I think Gus is the key to helping Justin open up. He's been so abused mentally, and physically you can't help to want to protect him and love him... I love that we're seeing Brian change right before our eyes. I just hope that Michael accepts this new Brian and doesn't ruin how things are developing between Brian and Justin.
