To say I'm obsessed with Queer as Folk would be a major understatement. I never saw the show while it was on Showtime, I found it Spring 2008 and was hooked after only one episode. Not even one episode, maybe 10-15 minutes of one show. Even the great Brian Kinney couldn't have designed an advertising campaign that could sell this show so completely, so fast if he tried... Oh wait a minute... I guess he did now, didn't he...
Several months after Brian and Justin part ways, a private airing of their dirty laundry results in a night of passion that neither one can forget or stop. But what happens when Brian is tired of playing second 'fiddle' to the fiddler? And how the hell do they keep the Gurus of Gossip aka the 'family' from finding out about their affair?

I started re-reading this on my phone. (But I can't seem to leave a comment? Who knows?) I forgot where i left off, and I guess I needed a refresher... I'm loving this fic, I can just imagine Lindsay drawling Rage, she'll probably get caught up in her fantasy and draw herself into Rages lair... Poor Mikey, caught embezzling Justin's profits, maybe Lindsay can cough up those funds too? Now Justin's on his way to the loft... Maybe in your reality him and Brian will be overwhelmed with passion, realizing that the flame is still smoldering. Now Justin needs to leave the Chin-Rats ass in his decrepit hovel... Okay, on to the next chapter!

Hey Kathleen! The house....WHEW! Why can't I be there instead of in the freezing abyss of Rochester, NY?? Talk about living vicariously through characters!
As for Brian, I'm so proud of him! It took a lot of guts for him to open up to Justin about Jack-Joan-John triangle and what's more is that no one else knows except Vic. I think Justin seeing Brian in a different setting is helping the matter the most. It's not that Justin has never seen Brian vulnerable- he has. It's that Brian is feeling comfortable enough in that space and time that, despite his fears, he's trusting Justin with everything that makes Brian himself. That's a major step in the right direction for them both. Now let's see what they do with the rest of the steps.

Oh poor Lindsay, she's fucked up royally. I doubt that Brian's going to be interested in fathers any children for her and Mel. She's not fooling anyone with her sickeningly sweet attitude, and it will only be a matter of time before she explodes again.
