first, I'm gonna guess this was written before Falling Off the Cliff since I noticed a couple of discrepancies, but this story is already breaking my heart...
Why did Brian do it? (I've read Falling Off the Cliff) Brian seemed to be good now... he got the clean bill of health and was booked to go see Sunshine's show!

Yes, you are correct- this was written after Falling off the Cliff. This was my first major story in the fandom- oh so many years ago. My beta at the time encouraged me to tell the story of how Justin and Brian ended up apart and Falling off the Cliff was that story. I think the OD was not on purpose.
