I wasa REALLY late comer to the QAF world - I didn't have cable back when the show was on. I only discovered it in Nov. 2011 when I came across it on DVD at my local public library. I instantly fell in love - this has to be one of the greatest love stories ever told and I can't get enough. I never was a fan fic reader, writer or anything prior to QAF. Now, I'm pretty much obsessed.
Hope you all enjoy my stories! I know that I've enjoyed writing them more than I ever thought I would. TAG

5/21/15 - Three years in now and I've posted twenty stories - 18 are complete and two are long-term WIPs - for a total of more than 1.25 million words. I've hosted two writing challenges, helped out a couple new writers by doing some beta work and hosted an internationally attended online QAF marathon. In the last year I also wrote my first original story, which is a major accomplishment I never dreamed I'd complete. I'd never have done any of that without the inspiration of QAF. Fanfic really CAN change lives! TAG

5/21/16 - It's the fourth anniversary of my posting my first fanfic story! I'm up to twenty-four stories for a grand total of over 1.75 Million words of fiction! Wow! Thank you to all my readers, my fellow writers and my wonderful friends in this fandom for keeping me motivated and writing.

5/21/17 - WOW! Five years writing QAF fanfic - can you believe it? And in that time I’ve completed 36 stories totalling just short of 2.5 million words of fiction. On top of all that, I’ve helped estable Kinnetik Dreams and have make scores of wonderful friends. Thank you to this wonderful fandom for enabling all that. I love you all!

5/21/18 - I can’t believe I’ve only been writing QAF fanfic for SIX years. I’m so connected to this fandom now that it feels like a part of my life. I’m super proud of my work over this past year. Along with my co-author, SunshineSally, I actually got one of my stories published! Add to that that my works total 43 stories and over 3,000,000 words of fiction. And I owe it all to this wonderful show, Queer As Folk, that inspired me.

5/21/19 - On the 7th Anniversary of posting my first story, I find myself still enjoying this fanfic stuff as much as ever. As of today I've written over 3.4 million words of fidction, including 51 stories and self-published my first book. Wow! Hopefully, by the end of this year, my second book will be published too. Who knows what will come next. Thanks for joing me on this amazing journey.

5/21/20 - It’s the 8th Anniversary of my first posted story. Unfortunately, this year is different for so many reasons. I wasn’t able to write as much this past year because I was trying to sort out my personal and professional life. I didn’t even attempt NaNoWriMo. But then COVID19 came and wrecked all my plans anyway so... Still, I added 3 more novel-length stories to my name, including one I’m shopping around to get published and another that’s semi-autobiographical and almost killed me to write. My total is more than 3.7 million words & 55 stories. And I’m still here!

5/21/22 - This will be the TENTH ANNIVERSARY of when I posted my very first QAF story! I can barely belive it. Ten years of writing and I owe it all the this amazing show that was the catalyst for my writing journey. Since then I've writen/published *29* novel-length stories. I've published *7* of those books plus done one audiobook. I'm working on publishing and 8th now as well as doing the second audiobook. And I'm still writing QAF fanfic because I can't stop. Watching the Rise and Shine Convention on youtube, I heard Randy say that he pictures Justin still being in New York today, having made a success of his art. He went on to say that he pictures the relationship between Brian and Justin as completely changed.
So, after I got over my initial screaming fit, bellowing nooooooo at the computer screen, much to the chagrin of my family...this is where my muse went with this new stimuli...

Love how they meet in the most unlikely place - the sandwich shop. Lol. TAG
The first episode of season 3 was unbelievably off the mark for me - and for so many reasons.
First, Justin made the biggest mistake of his life by choosing Ethan over Brian, showing just how far he had strayed from the ability he once had to read the man who had thrown away his rule book, and was scrambling to write a new one as he went along.
Worse still, in my book however, is that while Brian had plenty to answer for to Justin regarding his behavior, it was his family that once again blamed Brian for all the wrongs in the world, never once considering the fact that hitting Michael was so far out of character for Brian that something really huge must have triggered it.
Once again the golden child could do no wrong, only Brian knowing how far out of line his so-called best friend's comments about Justin had been, and everyone quickly rallied around Michael with love and support, while directing nothing but anger and disgust at the one man who had always been there to pick up all the pieces in their lives.

Brian has been known to throw his friends off that now famous cliff, always with the best of intentions, but leaving the other party with absolitely no control in the matter. As much as I LOVE Brian, I thought perhaps he should feel the pain of being pushed off that cliff, with all the angst and heartache that accompanies the leap.
