Summary:

The year is 2017 and married couple, Brian and Justin, are looking forward to celebrating Mel and Lindsay's wedding anniversary in Canada and visiting the teenage Gus and JR. When tragedy strikes, Brian and Justin are faced with life altering changes when becoming the legal guardians of both teens. What will life be like for the couple as full time parents? I owe a debt of gratitude to Heather for her beta skills and Eka for the wonderful banner for my story.

Crappy ending to a fun start....leave it to Brian to find a place to have his way with Justin in the middle of the party

Author's Response:

Brian can have a good time anywhere, but worry free days are not necessarily in his future.  Hugs, Grammy

A tragedy for the whole family...Gus would live with Brian and Justin, JR with her father Michael and Ben. Knowing Michael he won't man up

Author's Response:

This is indeed a tragedy, but as always everyone will pull together for the good of their family.  Hugs, Grammy

Brian is soooo lucky to have Justin to support him

Author's Response:

You are so right, Fantgirl.  I think that it is Justin's loyalty and support that made Brian fall so deeply in love with him long ago (not to mention his beautiful body and heart).  Hugs, Grammy

I think the Dads will do well and the teens will be fine (as fine as teens can be ) On the road again

Author's Response:

They'll work as a team, but of course raising teens isn't going to be all smooth sailing.  Hugs, Grammy

You're welcome.  I simply couldn't let history repeat itself, and Brian needed closure from the horrific incident that haunted him for so long.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Good chapter....I hope neither boys get hurt...they are so young.

Author's Response:

Justin was the same age when he met Brian, and he just knew what he wanted.  Gus is sometimes more like Justin than Brian, so the couple do have a chance.  Only time will tell.  Hugs, Grammy

Good talk wish more parents were like this I know too many sad stories

Author's Response:

I used the experience I had when talking with my Granddaughter, who came out as gay to us as a teen, to try and imagine how Brian and Justin would react.  I'm so glad you approved of 'the talk'.  Hugs, Grammy

Is it all going to hell in a hand basket ?

Author's Response:

Unfortunately real life usually is full of potholes on the road to adulthood.  But when there is enough love, one can usually ride it out without too much damage.  Hugs, Grammy

I loved this Thank you

Author's Response:

All your comments have been fantastic, Fantgirl.  I truly appreciate you taking time to let me know how each chapter has affected you.  I hope you will give the sequel a try too.  There is much more to the story of Gus and his young lover, Jason... as well as time for Gus' sister to have a story of her own.  And of course, there is much more on what life is like for Brian and Justin as the parents of young adults.  Thank you again.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Summary:

This is the sequel to Double Trouble and it will help you to understand the characters and their motivations if you've read DT first. Hopefully this one will stand up well on its own. This story picks up four years after DT ends. This time it is Gus and boyfriend Jason who are graduating from college and their sisters who are graduating from high school. The story will look back on the previous four years and then move on to their new lives together. Brian and Justin, still happily married, look with pride on the kids they helped move into adulthood together. I hope you will enjoy this continuation of their saga and remember that I welcome all comments. Many thanks to the genius work of Eka for the banner and my friend Pat for the beta work. Enjoy!

I loved it when Brian tossed the conversation to Justin " The Stalker"
