If Justin got the giggles the first time around when he figured it out about Brian and Ben, I can just imagine his reaction to this!

More importantly, what's Mel's reaction to Justin saying, "Lindsay will stop trying to get his."  Did Justin catch Lindsay making some attempt to get Brian in bed, and this is the outcome? This could prove to be a crack fic, or could really lead into a serious AU mutil-chapter fic. If I had my choice, I'd go with the latter.

Just think of Brian's reaction when he sees Lindsay and Michael's and has to compare it to Justin's? Even Mel's could surprise him.

YAY! Another Anti-Michael fic. Always a sucker for stories where Michael puts his foot in his mouth. I see lots of angst, but a very happy ending when the truth of what Michael did comes out. How does Brian finally learn the truth, when he hasn't spoken to Justin in a long time, and also won't give Daphne the time of day? Could he be at a restaurant entertaining a client and over-hears a conversation about how Michael was on his phone that night at Woody's, relaying how Brian had cancer?

Come on authors. This could be a very good read. Just think of all the possibilities you could come up with for this!

I would love to read something like this. The different ideas are great. If Craig's car was locked onto Brian's jeep, causing neither man to be able to drive off, the cops would HAVE to be called, and the truth revealed. Craig wouldn't have had the argument with Justin the next day on the sidewalk, causing Craig to hit Justin. Would Jennifer leave Craig sooner? What's Craig's outcome? His insurance would have to pay for Brian's new jeep. Would he have to pay restitution to Brian, hospital bills, loss of work... etc.

What if he did cause someone to be killed? Craig would have to have been unable to drive away, so Brian wouldn't have been held responsible for the accident. Craig would go to prison. Jennifer would divorce him, receiving everything, which means there would have been money available for Jennifer to pay for Justin to go to PIFA.

If it wasn't Brian's jeep, Wow! That guy would probably not pull out any stops in suing the insurance company against Craig, but what if he found out Craig thought the jeep was Brian's, and retaliated against the homophobe, and in turn did something horrible to Craig?

All these scenarios could be really good. But the bottom line in all of this, Justin wouldn't have moved out of his home, as Craig wouldn't have been around to kick Justin out. 

Anyway, I always wondered how Craig was able to drive home with as much damage that was done to his car in the show.

It's very interesting that you came up with a burglary plot, as I'm currently writing one. I have the story completely outlined and haven't written much more than the prologue. Of course, Michael and Lindsay are behind it. I wonder if I can change gears? So after ten minutes of contemplation, how's this?

Being it's Molly's birthday, and Craig is certain Justin will show up, sets the plan in motion. Then he contacts Hobbs, who kidnaps Justin. What neither man is aware of - maybe not even Brian yet - or better yet, he is - is that they just found out from the doctor that Justin pregnancy is considered - high risk.

What do you think? And the big question - can I write that? I certainly will give it a shot.

Huh! Unfortunately, I must have 'forgotten' the word 'legal'.  Then the question would be 'is that mandatory'? So, IF Justin is hired, well, we wouldn't want hm to go there, right? Just Saying. ;)

OOOOHHHH!  It was sounding good like a reunion meeting and a "Let's start a relationship" type thing.  THEN - you continued with the he's missing and the lone business card and I was HOOKED!!!!  I thoroughly LOVE mysteries and suspence. THIS has both.

I know I have said before, that I wish someone would write this, but by gosh, this one I MEAN IT!!!!! I can picture scenarios in my head already. I'm trying to think of a good mystery writer that we have, that would be perfect for this. Any suggestions???

Hey Deb...  did you see the discussion thread on KD-FB?  Someone was asking about a story by Miss Merlot. Nicole answered the question, which followed with me thanking her for her continuation of her stories, while also pointing out this plot bunny, telling her how much she could do with this.  She came back with the response that she has a fic on her list that she can use this in!  You Go Nicole!

Maybe Mel has been refusing to let Gus spend time with his Dad, whom he has a really good relationship with. So when he gets a hold of the magazine, he presents it at dinner, and tells Mel she's had no right keeping him from Brian lately. How does Brian react to the news of Mel not letting Gus see him?
