Bio:

Former professor of nutrition. Theater set-designing as a hobby with occasional onstage appearances. QAF fan-fiction author 2000-2008 with lots of readers. I wrote from the viewpoint of Brian Kinney…his backstory, expanding the current story, and specializing in the “X-rated” activities in Brian’s loft and the backroom at Babylon. Those stories are now almost inaccessible on a website that looks threadbare…so I have moved my stories here, with Lorie's and TAG's help.  And now I've started writing new stories.

Lorie, you knew I’d like this one when you recommended it. Sling, paddle, butt-plug…all the bells and whistles. I’m fond of nipple clamps… hint, hint. Keep these hot, short stories cumming… I mean “coming.”

Author's Response:

Paul,

If you like this then you will love SUMMER OF SIN by Tagsit. It's really long and A LOT of porn. See, even women can write m/m porn.

You seem to write Justin as smoothly and easily (and humorously) as I write Brian.  I enjoyed your story...as much as I treasure your numerous reviews.  Keep it up, Charlotte_eats_apples!

I think “rough stuff” is more common than most people think. Thanks for the review! This author thrives on criticism, positive and negative. Without reviews, it’s like taking your printed text, throwing it out the window, and watching it blow away.

Summary: Brian left Pittsburgh for almost five days to attend the White Party celebration in Miami. He missed Lindsay's and Melanie's wedding which pissed-off a lot of people. But, it was something he had always wanted to do...and he wasn't getting any younger, so...Brian did what Brian wanted to do. The story is essentially a long string of sex-scenes (Brian doing what Brian wants to do) and should probably not be read in one sitting...too much sensory overload, even for Brian, apparently. Enjoy every bit of anatomy, every orifice, every position, and every inclination and perversion.

This story was just a diversion...20 years ago. A reader told me that she like my sex-scenes...and she challenged me to write a story that was entirely sex-scenes. So, being a person who responds to any challenge, I started looking for a plot...and then a QAF episode included Brian's absence from the wedding because he went to Florida. That seemed like the perfect venue for my new story...4,000 gay men at a 5-day party at the beach! There was no inspiration...just dumb-luck. My new story fitted the QAF episode perfectly. Thus...you have this story to read.

Summary:

The new student in Pittsburgh’s North Hills High-School, Brian Kinney, finds himself labeled as an outcast. That is, until he meets the boy who accepts him... and helps him explore his growing sexuality. A defining relationship that begins to mold Brian into the man he would become. A precursor to the Requiem Series.

I think even Brian would agree with you. That's essentially what he says near the end.
This is probably the saddest story I've ever written, because we all know what happens. As Brian says, this is the pivotal point.

Summary: This began as a treatise then evolved into a fiction. Along-the-way it lost the two sex-scenes I had included because they were a distraction. (I saved them for later.) It was a round-about way to get to a story without a lot of dialogue and without a pre-established plot. But for those who love Brian and Justin together, this fiction is meant to please.

Ditto! You might like to read "Let Nothing Ye Dismay" which may be posted on Friday. It's a stream-of-consciousness piece about Brian's Christmas without Justin.

Reviewer: Paul Plesko Signed
Date: Dec 05, 2021 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Did anyone notice? Justin's list is written in the present tense...while it was happening, I suppose. Brian's list is in the past tense...and he leaves-out the words "I love..." It's just a small writing trick, but it adds to the sadness.

Summary: Author Note: From the beginning of my awareness that I could write fan-fiction, I have wanted to write this story. While QAF Episode 101 was ground-breaking in its depiction of male-male sex on cable-television, it was fairly mild compared to male-male porn that is readily available. So my story is a gap-filler in the true sense; in this case, the "gap" is Justin’s virgin ass. And it reminds me of Brian's motto: "There's no such thing as 'enough'."
For a full understanding of this story, readers should have read my "Requiem" series because this story relates to Brian's back-story.

Thanks! I've watched these scenes in Episode 101 probably a hundred times ...and, as sexy as they are, they've always left me wanting more. I've always thought Justin's hook-up on Liberty Avenue was akin to asking a fellow to help sing "Happy Birthday"...and then finding out he's Luciano Pavarotti.

This is a much hotter version of Justin's first time. Great writing.

Summary: Christmas is a tough time for some people. The sweet sentimentality sometimes reminds them of what they don’t have… the love the holiday represents. The Rage Party had been just two weeks before Christmas, so the wounds had barely healed. Brian has many memories of past Christmases.

What can I say? You know I defend Brian all the time. I analyze him; I excuse him; I explain him. And most of the time I'm cheering for the two to get together. But, sometimes, I wonder if they ever will. They're like the Intercontinental Railroad...laying their tracks down from the east and west to meet somewhere in the middle... and when they finally meet...the tracks are off-set by 1-foot...and a train cannot pass.
They're just "off" by a little bit, but that screws up the whole enterprise. Do Brian and Justin "meet" in the middle? Do they come together to make a "whole?" Ask me on a good day, and I'd say "Yes." Ask me on a bad day, and I'd say "No." I just write this crap,Lady.

Summary:

Author Notes: Point of View Brian and Justin. What does one do on New Year’s Eve? Spend it with old friends, of course, remembering past, and perhaps better, times. The split with Justin is still a gaping wound for Brian, although he would never admit it. And Brian turns to his usual forms of forgetting auld acquaintance.
There is a brief reference to my Christmas-holiday story, "Let Nothing Ye Dismay" although this is not, technically, a sequel.

I think you're misinterpreting John. He's married; he has two sons. He's a professor who fell in love with one of his (remarkable) students. He's gay, or at least Bi-...and he feels trapped. He doesn't want to break-up his family because he knows that Carolyn will be vindictive. But, he loves this young man, whom he abandons and pushes away. It's a classic case of a gay young man who has chosen to marry by social and family pressures 30-to-40 years ago. He's fine in the marriage for several/many years, but as he gets older he feels the pressure of never having the sexual release he dreams about. He's not a predator; he just longs for male companionship. He's a victim of a society that did not accept homosexuality. I know several guys who were in this situation. Of all the characters in my stories, I feel saddest about John.

I didn't know where the hope was, twenty years ago. Get together, split up, get together, split up...it was an emotional roller coaster. I suppose the "hope" was that the writers of the series would come up with a solution and an ending that would satisfy us all. That didn't happen. And you can't hope for a change 20 years later...unless someone rewrites and reproduces the whole series. A new generation has taken over this unsettled feeling about QAF. But, it is what it is. That's not a good answer to your question.

Summary: Summary: A very short piece; a snippet of a story. It’s several weeks after the "break-up" and Brian is alone in the loft on a cold evening trying not to think of you-know-who. And then, as Fate would have it, a "ridiculously romantic message" from the past becomes a challenge for the future. Dare I say, “Ridiculously Romantic?”

Just think of the interactions that followed this: working together as boss and intern…a touch here and there… maybe a stolen kiss in the Men’s Room… lunch and sex in the office…staying late after work. The possibilities are endless. Not to mention the excitement of artistic collaboration.

Summary:

Gap-filler for episode 301.  Brian responds to Justin's departure in his usual way...drugs, booze, Babylon, and the Baths.  In this story, he attempts to find a ‘trick' who resembles Justin.  But, during his depression, he continues to remember details of their relationship... and he misses Justin even more.

I think we all know that B&J are reunited after the Big Break-up in episode 220.  This story shows that Brian is still struggling (grieving?) about the separation...evident in his conversation with Charles Narrow about love and relationships.  Brian is thinking about Justin... more than Charles.  The whole purpose of this story was to show that, while was fucking with a gorgeous young guy, he was thinking about Justin.  Thanks for your review.
