Hello everyone. I am a 74 year old Mother of one girl and Grandmother of two girls, all of them grown adults now. I've been an ardent and devoted fan of Queer as Folk since the very first airing of Season 1, Episode 1, which I had to watch after seeing the British version shortly before the American version was aired. And although the British version was truly wonderful, nothing could have prepared me for the magnificent talent of the actors who took on the American version, or the compelling storylines they played out. Eventually I discovered the world of fanfics after my girls gave me my first computer, and i've never looked back. I started as an avid reader of QAF fanfiction and was finally convinced by fellow QAFers to try my hand at my own fanfics. That was more than a decade ago and nothing has given me more pleasure than writing my stories and hearing from readers who seemed to enjoy them. I've been dormant with my writing for the last few years due to a number of reasons, but I do hope that some of my old work will still find an audience that likes what I've written.
As for my personal life... I've grown up all over the United States until the age of 19, when I settled in the Dallas, Texas area, where I remained for 48 years. About 5 years ago I finally made a move with my girls to Pennsylvania, and am now very happily living with my youngest Granddaughter in Lancaster. Oh yes, I also became a devoted fan of another television series called 'Spartacus'. There is a loving gay couple called Agron and Nasir that have also inspired me to write fanfics for their characters and you will find one cross-over story involving this couple with Brian and Justin. Hopefully there will be more stories in my future, but only time will tell. Thank you for checking me out.

Finally did it...my very first crossover story, and my QAF muse has come back home too. So I hope you'll enjoy this new story. For those who love Spartacus (and especially Agron and Nasir) you'll know them well. This story is set during the revolt of the slaves of Rome between 73 B.C. and 71 B.C. I have done my best to be as accurate to true history as I can, but the story is based on the way history is told by the Starz series, 'Spartacus'. I've changed Brian and Justin's names slightly to fit what was used in that time period. All the names I've used for characters are accurate according to my research. At the beginning none of the four men have met and spent any time together. I promise you, that will change quite quickly. The Agron/Nasir part of the story is more canon, while the Brian (Brion)/Justin (Justinus) part of the story is certainly AU. I hope you will enjoy the blending of these two magnificent couples.

Hello, everyone. Today is special to me. It marks the 7th Anniversary of the very first time I wrote and posted a fanfic story. As has become my custom, I wanted to give you something special to thank all my wonderful readers for their loyalty and support of my work over the years.
A little over a year ago, my muse abandoned me for a while and my work trickled down to almost nothing. Then another couple entered my life and my muse returned full force. I heard a new song called 'Black Out the Sun' by Darren Hayes on an LJ QAF fan site and immediately got the image of this all important night when Brian finally said 'I Love You' to Justin for the first time. I was so inspired I had to re-visit that scene and give my version of Brian's thoughts that fateful evening. I have filled in a couple of gaps from the show, such as the time between Brian's hearing the radio announcement of the bombing and his arrival at Babylon, and the short period of time when Brian was with Debbie at the hospital chapel and before he came back for Justin. I hope you will enjoy my interpretation. I've included the lyrics to the song (which do not belong to me, of course) so that you can understand why it affected me the way it did.
