I spent my weekend listening to songs, and one in particular...Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' inspired this story.  A line from the song mentions the scars of your love and ends with 'We could have had it all'.  Like with so many other songs, I ended up thinking of Brian and Justin.  In this story, Justin has been in NYC for a year and become a great success in the artistic community.  The only problem is, he misses Brian too much to enjoy all the accolades.  He decides to send Brian a message and hopes to get the response he is praying for.  Will he?  I must thank Judy for her Beta skills and my darling Granddaughter, Marika, for providing the perfect banner to tell the story.  I love you guys dearly.

Story #11 of The Sunshine Files

Happy Thanksgiving to all my readers who are celebrating the holiday.  For those who don't, I still hope you have a wonderful week full of things and people to be thankful for.  

For this year's annual Thanksgiving story, we move forward in time to the second year after Justin has moved to New York City.  He and Brian see each other as often as they can, but it is far too seldom for either of them.  When Justin is invited to spend his second Thanksgiving away from Pittsburgh with Mel, Linds, and Gus in Canada he is happy to go thinking he'll see Brian there.  Brian himself crushes that dream.  But will Justin find himself having more to be thankful for than he thought he would?  Read on to find out.  Many thanks to Judy for her beta skills and Marika for the lovely banner.

I, like so many, was not at all happy with how the QAF series ended.  So here is my version of how it could have happened after the last scene.  I owe a debt of gratitude to Eka for my lovely banner and Heather for her wonderful beta work.

Hello again, my friends. Today I give you Chapter One of a brand new story. I promise you lots of sparkle, chills, thrills, sequins, and tights...not to mention romance...in this story set in post Stonewall, pre AIDS America where a small independent circus struggles to stay alive in a changing world. Their lead attraction is Trapeze star Brian Kinney and there are plenty of changes in store for him too when he meets the young man who is in desperate need of changes in his own life. What happens when these two souls meet and discover more than a love for the circus in common between them? I hope you will enjoy the journey. 

I want to thank 3 special people for this story. One is Sunny, a dear friend who suggested the premise for this story. Another is Judy who will serve beautifully as my beta. Last but not least is my Granddaughter Amy who tried valiantly to get our boys into tights for the banner, but still created a beautiful one anyway. Thank you to them all. This story is the result of the request by a wonderful reader of mine named Lorie.  It begins in 2005.  Justin is a young man in NYC who makes his living as the writer of gay porn and adult fiction.  He has bigger goals for himself.  He dreams of publishing the great American gay romance novel, but he has little to base it on.  Justin does not do relationships and has little trust of others due to a painful childhood.  Brian Kinney is the owner of his own ad agency which has taken on Justin's publishing house as a new client.  What will happen when Brian and Justin meet eventually...two lost souls afraid of commitment.  I owe a huge debt of gratitude to my Granddaughter, Amy, for the banner and my friend Pat for beta help.  I also want to thank Lorie for trusting me with her idea.  So enjoy and remember that comments are always welcome.

Um. This is hard to describe. Pure, unadulterated crack, told in alternating narratives between the author and her alter-ego, a 14-year old clueless bad!fic writer. The narrative also switches from inside BBJFE's head to Jane's cracky interpretation of the QAF!verse, to a behind-the-scenes cracky interpretation of Gale losing his mind and Randy's resignation while CowLip manifests as a fascist monstrosity. Basically, Brian proposes in alternating romantic and cynicism depending on which story you're reading, and CowLip exploits the politics of gay marriage for their own infernal end game.

Joan discovers she has a grandson after some life altering events happen in her own life. Even though she hasn't spoken to Brian in years, will she get to know her teenage grandson?
