I heard this song on a television program one night and couldn't stop thinking how it fit Brian and Justin to a tee.  I figured if I wrote out a story based on the lyrics, I could get the song to go away.  I hope you will enjoy where my mind wandered.  The wonderful banner is by Eka, of course, and beta help came from my friend Pat.  Thank you to both of them.   And thank you to the wonderful lyricist who provided such beautiful words for the song.   Comments are always welcome.  Grammy

Brian helps Justin enjoy his first Pride Parade. Gap-filler for Episode 2-04.

Justin has finally convinced Brian to take a real vacation and they head for Europe.  They fly into Paris and then decide to take a road trip from Paris to Rome.  Of course, not everything runs smoothly for our intrepid travelers...as usual.  Many thanks to Pat for her beta work and Eka for the adorable banner. 

This story is a gap filler that picks up the next day after the famous make up scene in Brian's office when Justin comes back to his man.  Before they go to Babylon that night for the famous 'reunification' dance, Brian goes to the office and comes home to find Justin in the shower.  He muses on his feelings as he indulges in a little fun voyeurism of his blond beauty.  Many many thanks to Eka for the wonderfully steamy banner.

As you might have guessed it's my fractured fairy tale take on Aladdin QAF style. I'm keeping to the original version and not the Disney version although aspects may trickle through.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my readers who are celebrating the holiday.  For those who don't, I still hope you have a wonderful week full of things and people to be thankful for.  

For this year's annual Thanksgiving story, we move forward in time to the second year after Justin has moved to New York City.  He and Brian see each other as often as they can, but it is far too seldom for either of them.  When Justin is invited to spend his second Thanksgiving away from Pittsburgh with Mel, Linds, and Gus in Canada he is happy to go thinking he'll see Brian there.  Brian himself crushes that dream.  But will Justin find himself having more to be thankful for than he thought he would?  Read on to find out.  Many thanks to Judy for her beta skills and Marika for the lovely banner.

The setting is post Season 5 by several months. Brian has developed a unique problem that he has only faced one other time. He turns to the psychologist who helped him with Justin's problem after the bashing in hopes of finding a solution. Will the good Doctor figure out the puzzle that is confronting Brian and help him solve it? I dedicate this to Lori, who had been a blessing in my present chaotic life and given me much needed incentive to get back to my writing. I, like so many, was not at all happy with how the QAF series ended.  So here is my version of how it could have happened after the last scene.  I owe a debt of gratitude to Eka for my lovely banner and Heather for her wonderful beta work. 

I have something a little different from my usual romantic story for you.  This is a What If story.  What If Justin did not meet Brian during his Senior year.  What if he was bashed for a different reason.  Do you remember that one moment in the show when Justin wished he had died from the bashing...when he lost it and pushed his mother down?  What if those suicidal thoughts went further, but a guardian angel steps in to give him a glimpse of what he will miss if he dies?  Will it be enough for our young man to fight for his life?  Or is it too late to change his destiny?  This story is unbeta'd at the moment because my beta is off to see Randy in the Berkshires.  That is more important.  LOL!  Corrections will be made when she has more time.  The banner is again by my talented Granddaughter, Marika.  Enjoy!

I was watching 'So You Think You Can Dance' when a performance was given to the song 'Somebody That I Used to Know'.  Bingo!!!  Another inspiration for a Brian/Justin love story.  Amazing how it keeps happening.  LOL!  Anyway, this is not a songfic.  Only the title inspired me.  This is a What If? story.  It begins with...What if Brian got the job in New York City that was offered just before the end of Season One and left Pittsburgh behind.  The story moves forward to five years later.  Justin has moved to NYC after graduating from PIFA and after a year in the City, he runs into Brian at a fine restaurant.  What happens then?
