WHOO-HOO!!! What a heart-stopping chapter, StarBaby! As always it was so worth the wait. OMG! I wanted to punch the hell out of Ethan. I mean of all the times to pull a Mikey just having to know why he couldn't possibly measure up to cow dung, let alone Brian Kinney... what a total MORON! He may or may not do jail time for his part in all of this, but yeah, I think he's already beginning to pay plenty with his foray into total obscurity. Couldn't happen to a more deserving asshole! Somehow, I'm hoping that Zane will move on with Corey, and that Ethan will be front and center to see it!
As for Michael,: What can I possibly say except OH YEAH! That wonderful, and all-too-true adage that when digging one ditch, you should dig two is definitely making his appearance here. While he was joining Collier in all his plans, Collier was making sure that Michael wouldn't get out of any of his own idiocy unscathed.
BTW... Can I borrow Corey's gun? I think he should have fired another shot... right dead in the crack of Collier's ass! I'm so happy and relieved that little punk will get everything that's coming to him. BUT I also really, REEEEEAAAALLLLLY want his parents to pay for their inaction, too. They knew that the little bastard needed to be locked away in a medical facility for his own good, as well as everyone else's peace of mind. Yet they did absolutely nothing but deny that their son was both a psychopath and a sociopath in order for them to keep their illusion of status. I hope it all blows up in the faces, and they are dismissed as the social pariahs they are!

This was a very good update, and the mystery kept us on the edge of our seats for a bit.
I can't see how Collier's lawyers will be able to spin a not-guilty out of this, because not only did he shoot at three people (one in uniform)... but Justin can verify that Collier had him kidnapped before he ever brought Ethan in, and that Collier had plans to kill Ethan: Dead men can't talk - isn't that how he said it?
As far as Michael financing everything, he can certainly tell them how Collier promised to pay him back for everything, once he completed counseling and got his money. NOT that I think Michael should br redeemed, they aren't my favorite scenario. He can also tell thm about Colliers crazed dominany in bed.
I could almost see Deb's blush at the end and I'm so happy to see her letting Michael sink on this.

Collier finally did something stupid that can't be easily explained away and that his parents can't hush up, shooting at sheriff pretty much guarantees he is going down and not in a life affirming way.
Lassie is very deserving of a living home and to be spoiled for the rest of his life.
Ethan will have to find someone else to take care of and cater to his whiny ass Kane may have found someone finally worthy of his heart.
Brian and Justin getting out of town while the vultures swarm is good they need time together to heal from this trauma and reconnect.
Michael seriously makes stupid look smart he is so doing time and will be forgotten the second he is sentenced, at last he will get the attention he wants but he won't enjoy it as much as he thinks because he is going to be torn apart.
