Deb blaming Brian for Michael ruining his relationship with Ben is so shocking.

Deb really is an emotional bully who loves pointing others faults but the moment they start pointing out her own she gets louder and points her fake finger nail at them.

It is easy to point a finger when you ignore you own way is at fault for how your child turned out, blaming Brian for Michael not growing up and facing responsibility  is laughing since her way of handling life is avoiding the problems or foisting it on Brian to carry.

Everyone spends way too much time placating Michael instead of forcing him to face his own mistakes, he isn't a child anymore and it way past time he grew up.

Justin wanting to go back to school is a good thing he has too much talent to waste on just a comic book.

Brian and Justin looking for a home that is just them is good for too long the loft has been like Grand Central Station for some people, they need a place that is just them and not for certain members of the family to invade whenever they want.

Deb like Michael loves to live in La La Land they see and hear what they want and they believe that they are right and everyone else is wrong, Deb knows full well Brian hasn't yanked on Michael's leash since Dr. David was in the picture.

It is always so easy for them to blame Brian because he never tried to set the story straight, what I didn't like was that Justin didn't come out to set Deb right.

I feel that Deb saying that she did everything for Justin was wrong she gave him a place to stay, food to eat, but his mother did pay her for Justin's care so it is not like she raised him from birth, besides the story in the comic book is Justin's and Brian's they went through that night everyone else just had to deal with the aftermath.

Debbie needs to wake up and see that her coddling and babying of Michael has turned him into a spoiled selfish, self-absorbed  thirty something man-child who really doesn't know how to take care of himself and she needs to stop feeding into his delusion by blaming Brian and as usual expecting him to fix it.

Looking forward to delving deeper into your story :)

Author's Response: La La Land, that's so true... Setting the record straight is long overdue, but will she be able to hear it? Deb always sees things through her own filter, that needs to be cleaned. I never understood how Michael claimed that the comic-book was his creation. It was Justin's true life story. It gave him a way of expressing what he went through, especially because Cowlip never really did the bashing and his recovery justice. Coddling baby Michael is the reason for her existence... Isn't it just like Deb to blame Brian for the wrongs in her son's life.  She never let Michael take responsibilty so this is what happens.  At least Emmett sees what's happening for what it is.

Author's Response: Debbie needs to accept that she's raised a whiny, irresponsible, and as Brian says pathetic brat... Hugs ~ Kathleen

I can't believe Debbie... she should know the truth of how it really is!!!

Author's Response: She's an ostrich with her head in the sand... Later Darling ~ Kathleen
