What a chapter! Dense, full of emotions and a beginning of acceptance from Mel, even if she has a long road ahead of her.

I'm glad that Alex and Mel got to the bottom of some of Mel's issues with Brian and found the rat dead and stinking at the end of it all...Lindsay! Lawd Ham Turkey and Grits, she really did a number on Melanie. I wish there was a way to lock Lindsay up for emotional abuse. Those are always the scars that hurt worse than physical pain.
BTW, I LOVE Cynthia and Jen! Both started the process with their harsh, but true words to Mel. Hopefully, she will take it all to heart and change for the better, even if she has to pretend to be going back to Lindsay for a time.
UGH!! Now there's a tough pill to swallow, no matter how necessary! Even though I know it's a necessary evil to get the she-bitch to tell the truth of things, I still don't like that she's seemingly not going to pay for any of her pefidy. It seems almost like she's going to be rewarded for being a backstabbing shrew. The fact that she said nothing to confirm or deny Mel hitting her, guarantees that she can't be charged with filing a false report. But I wonder if she can be jailed for withholding exculpatory evidence, which would have kept Mel from being arrested in the first place...Hm, something I'll have to research myself for the future.
Can I just say, BOOK'EM, HORVATH!! Bonnie and Clyde- Mother and Son edition are sharing a cell at Chez Pitts P.D., which is as it should be. Hopefully there will be a way to keep them locked up until Mel, Brian and Justin are able to gather all of the evidence needed to thwart their attempts to gain custody of Jenny. No doubt, it's a ploy for extortion via child support because I doubt either of them really wants Jenny for anything else. They are too much like Lindsay, in that they are beyond greedy, needy and seedy both in words and deeds. But you know what they say about birds of a feather and Twit Trio of Queen Dumbelina, Tweedleedee and Tweedleedumb, definitely are.
I can't wait for the next installment!

Mel has a long road ahead of her and finally holding up a mirror to her relationship with Lindsay and the kids is a good start, but she still has to see that Brian is no saint but he doesn't hide behind others when he screws up.
Justin and Brian willing to help Mel shows that they are working to help Gus and Jenny, Mel has to help herself cause they aren't going to fix all her messes.
Lindsay will love living in that big house just to gloat, flaunt and make her dreams about having the world at her feet come true.
I am really surprised that Michael and Deb haven't tried to confront Justin before the restraining orders were issued.
