Giving Michael's car to Carl is such a great present and Carl will appreciate it.

There are certain times when I wonder what is going on. Like whose garage is everything stored in and where did Michael get all the things? I seem to have lost track.

Hey, you haven't lost track, I slightly curve balled there, apologies, so explanation. The house came with a garage, so it was Michael's and he was storing his married to Brian things, which he will never get to use now. He got them during his trip around the world with Brian, naturally he didn't pay for them, Brian did so they were forfeit too.
Hope that clears up any confusion.
