Are you suggesting Brian broke all ties with the gang when he found out about the pregnancy? Mel and Lindsay would have known because off him having Gus visiting hin. We know Ted knew because ge told Brian it was wrong to keep Luke from Justin.
Justin wants to get to know Luke? Let him go through Emmett. That way he wouldn't have to deal with Brian at all.

Of course Justin wants to get to know his child now that he knows he has one. It will be interesting to see how he will go about it. Will he avoid Brian? Will he go through Emmett? Will he just let lawyers and judges handle this? We'll find out soon :)

Wow Emmett Didn't Know???
Brian took away so much from Justin but what he took most of all was his trust, and for a man who values trust so highly to keep Luke a secret for years is beyond low.
Deb, Jennifer, Ted, Mel and Lindsay and Michael knew and didn't care.
Michael, Lindsay and Mel I can understand because they are selfish but why did Debbie keep the secret?
Brian knew Justin wanted a family and to shut him out like this is beyond cruel it is just plain evil, as usual Brian thinks he knows what is best for everyone and instead of talking to Justin he just decided and to Hell with the consequences.
In a way I want Brian and Justin to be together but not if Brian doesn't pull his head out of his ass, man up and take what is coming to him from Justin, he had no right to decide what is or isn't good for Justin.
Damn we haven't even gotten to why we should hate Michael, Lindsay and Mel because at this point I want to castrate Brian, punch Jennifer and Deb while protecting Justin for their continued lies smh
I so want Emmett to go see Brian and punch him in the face and knock out his two front teeth, then give Deb and Jennifer the Bitch Slap they so deserve (Violence doesn't solve anything I know, but in this story it sure could relieve some tension lol)
I know this is a slow build to the confrontation between Brian and Justin, Justin with Deb but I think I will wait for the story to get further ahead, one chapter update aren't working with my level of anger right now...maybe? lol

Haha, I totally get you: I am a binge-person myself. Binge-watching, binge-reading and I hate to wait for regular updates. So I do feel your pain. Maybe it helps that the conversation between Brian and Justin that we're all waiting for is gonna happen really soon?
We'll find out soon who knew about Luke and who didn't and what their reasons were for keeping it from Justin. All will be revealed at one point or another in this story :)

As for the Happy Ending - yep, there will be one, but... Happy Endings can come in many different shapes and forms. What constitutes a happy ending to one person might not necessarily make another person happy.
I really like your summary of why Justin left for New York in the first place - that is something that will be discussed over the course of this story as well. Did he really leave for his career? Or to please Brian, like you said? Hmm...
It's a long story and a lot will happen before it's over, I can promise that :)

You know, there are tons of stories out there that Brian pushes Justin away while he is in New York for the sake of his "career". Those were possible for Brian to redeem himself somewhat. However, keeping Justin's SON from him is completely NONredeemable. He will never get those "firsts" back (steps, words, etc). His own child doesn't even know him. Oh I guess they showed pictures, but that doesn't mean anything to a child that young. Of all people, Brian should KNOW how Justin is feeling. He missed so much with Gus, but that was HIS choice. He did not give Justin a choice. I really hope it doesn't come down to Lindsay and Melanie threatening to take Gus away if they told Justin....if so, then Brian picked one child over the other...unacceptable!!! As for Jennifer, blackmail my ass...one of the times she planning on having Luke, she could have had Justin plan to come home first. Brian could not have left then for Justin would have found him. I think she wanted to be a grandma too much and she was looking for anyway to get it. I say Justin kicks Brian's ass out of Britain sine it is HIS house and raises Luke there. That way, Luke is in familiar surroundings. Unfortunately, for Luke's sake, he can't sue for full custody, but he certainly can for shared custody. Brian is the only Dad Luke knows at this point. Grrrr just pisses me off. I agree with everyone else, that there is no way back from this for any reconciliation between B&J. I also say, Justin should kick everyone who knew out of his life permanently!!! I also want to tell you that I love your writing style and thanks for sharing your story.

As for what Justin will do: We'll see in upcoming chapters once he has calmed down a bit and really wrapped his head around the fact that he is a father and has a son, but like you mentioned: Brian is the only father that Luke knows. Would Justin go and destroy that in his thirst for revenge on Brian and his mother? We'll see *evil grin*
As for Gus, Lindsey and Melanie: There is a whole story there and it is connected to Luke's existence, but it's not what you fear. Brian did not choose one son over the other. We might think very badly of him, but he wouldn't do that :(

I skipped over Justin's hurt last review. Not now. There is nothing that neither Jenn nor Brian can say at this time that's going to ease the betrayal. Take Brian to court for custody? All for it. Go for custody and move away. Spending time getting to know Luke without Brian and everyone around, oh yeah all for that too.
How would have Brian felt if after Lindsay found out she was pregnant with Gus and took off without telling him?

Oh, don't worry! I was expecting a lot of hate when I wrote this story and knew people wouldn't like Brian and Jennifer in it once I started posting it. I was prepared for that.
And I do appreciate everyone's comments and how they show me what emotions my little story is bringing out in them. It's really amazing to see so many people comment on this crazy figment of my imagination ;)

Just wanted to add a little something here... I'm not as angry at Brian as I am at Jennifer. I fully believe that the person carrying the child really gets to set the rules. I was a pregnant single woman who debated (strongly) not telling the father. I chose to tell him, for all the good it did. But we all know how Brian is about setting the rules and cliff pushing and stubborn till it hurts stuff.
Jennifer? Different story altogether. She had a parental responsibility to put her child first in this kind of situation. She manipulated everyone here and denied both her son and her grandson in a seriously major way. That's really pretty unforgivable.
But what Brian and Jennifer did together is tantamount to the treatment Brian received as a child, in my opinion. They treated Justin abysmally because they, in their god-like judgment, thought it was for Justin's good. I'm sure that's exactly what Joan thought - it's all for Brian's good. But abuse is abuse is abuse - only the degrees are different. Jennifer committed a serious form of child abuse, even though her son was an adult, and also upon her grandson. Brian committed a serious form of domestic abuse because they were together when Justin left (at Brian's urging).
Oh, I love it when I get a story I can pontificate upon!

I am with you on judging Jennifer's betrayal as even worse than Brian's because she as Justin's mother should have been on his side and should have told him the minute she found out. Instead she played happy grandma to her son's child.
When my muse led me down this way, I was fighting against it for a long time as I usually love Jennifer and having her behave like this broke my heart. But what the muse demands, the muse will get ;)
We will see how it'll all play out in the end!

I think it's too early to judge Justin and his reaction as weak. Right now he has known about his son for 2-3 hours and is still in shock and ruled by anger. We'll see how he will react once he really wraps his head around the fact that he is a father and has a son with Brian.
Unfortunately (or rather fortunately, so we'll have a story), Justin won't leave for New York. Not now that he knows he has a son in Pittsburgh.
I am sorry to have made them all so unredeemable, but this is a long story. A lot will happen before it's over. We'll see how it will all work out (or not) in the end ;)

Ohhhhhh, I swear to god, I would never talk to that woman again if she were my mother. I'd sue Brian for custody, make his life a living hell for being the damn shit he has been. He should at least sue for shared custody. I'd also write off the entire rest of the family if they knew.
