It's not nice of Brian to keep it a secret from his family that he was the one who was unfaithful and not Justin. Even if Justin wants to protect Brian, Brian should take responsibility for his infidelity. I hope the truth comes out. I'm glad Justin is interested in painting again, it's a sign of healing. It's good that he's continuing the comic with Michael. I'm really looking forward to the sequel.

Thank you for this new story. I love your Justin like in your other story in this universe (Simon). I hope his journey will be enriching and a little vengeful. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Author's Response:
Thank you for reading and the great review. I'm glad you enjoyed the other story I posted in this universe. There actually is a little touch of revenge later in the story. LOL! I just posted the next chapter; I hope you enjoy it.

As soon as you posted the second chapter, I immediately saved it, but only now have I been able to bring myself to read it. I hate Brian and Steve together so much. I hated their relationship in Simon's story as well. I liked the other two adaptations (by Margaret - Falling Down the Primrose Path; and by Mouse - One Foot in Front of the Other) a little better, because in them Brian realized that he was wrong and ended his relationship with Steve himself. I really hope that in your story, Brian comes to his senses sooner and find and regains Justin .Please don't disappoint me.
Author's Response:
I never liked the Brian/Steve pairing either. Steve seemed a bit snobbish, leaning a bit toward the Dr Dave character of Season 1. I also enjoyed Margaret's and Mouse's stories. I have a couple of different versions of Justin's life in this universe. This is the second version. Once I get this one finished and posted, I'm hoping to get the third version posted as well.
I'm not sure if I can get Brian and Justin back together in this version or not, but hopefully I won't disappoint you.
Thank you for reading and reviewing!

I have never liked this universe. Brian and Steve make me sad. I hope you can write something better. Justin's letter made me cry. Good luck.
Author's Response:
I didn't enjoy the whole Brian/Steve thing either, but I do like the universe because it makes me want to write a stronger Justin (and to try and figure out how to get them back together if at all possible!).
I will admit that I cried a bit when I wrote Justin's letter. I'm not even sure how many times I rewrote that before I was finally satisfied with it! LOL!
Thank you for reading and reviewing! I hope you continue to read.

Love the writing but, will wait until the story is finished. Not sure of the Steve thing so will wait it out.

Thank you for the great compliment and the review. I do hope you will continue to read.

Thank you for this strong Justin! I read Simon's story but I always felt that that Justin wasn't right, was OOC. This is good! Hope to read the second chapter soon!
Author's Response:
I'm glad you enjoyed the first chapter. Hopefully you will enjoy the second chapter as well. LOL! I really prefer a stronger Justin and I'm hoping to make Brian a bit more balanced in this story. I think Simon wrote Brian a bit OOC as well; he lost a lot of the fight he had in him and seemed to give in to Steve rather easily.
Thank you for reading and reviewing!
