Wow.a shitload happening in this chapter. I feel just awful for Gus and Jenny! Both must feel completely abandoned by their Moms. Thankfully Justin is able to take on all the kids together and Brian will be right there with him. I think this was one of Mel's best and most mature and selfless decisions she's ever made. She actually considered what was best for Jenny. Terribly sad that she couldn't seem to consider Gus in the picture at all.
Can I just give a big "WHEW" that neither Justin nor Brian fell for Lindsey's crap. I'm thrilled that she gave custody over to Brian, but I don't trust her motivations. She's going to cause problems I'm sure.
Michael as usual is a fool. Thinking he can just walk into his lawyer's office. Such a pompous ass the way he spoke to the receptionist. I'm always curious as to where people get the idea they can treat people like shit. It's not like he was raised with tons of money and is a snob in that sense. Ah well. Thankfully Emmett isn't going to help him out.
Emmett is such a joy! He's so happy that Justin is back. He'll eventually forgive Brian, he's just that loving. He just needs to make sure that Justin is OK. Drew will help him out in this area too.
Excellent chapter!! Lovely and long too.
This is just getting more and more interesting as wel go along and am anticipating all the angst and hyjinx that will presumably occur.

I always thought of Emmett as awesome and here he lives up to my estimation by dropping everything to go see Justin. Not only that, he serves up some reality and grow up pills too.
Mel has some nerve giving Jenny to Justin. I think that's an admission that Mikey was the wrong choice. Well that and the comic t-shirts and lower than average iq. Justin is a saint.
As usual, twists and turns with funny nuggets-- fantastic!

My, my what an eventful chapter. Mel turning custody over to Justin actually was a good idea, though I do question her motives. Justin is not about to say no. Michael thinking he can get his daughter and trying to get Emmett's help was unbelievable. Emmett is in hog's heaven knowing that Justin is back, even though he doesn't know why or where he left. Jenny is one lucky little girl, she'll have two brothers and two fathers who love her for her. Can't wait to see your next chapter!

Oh I am cracking up that Michael thought Mel would support him while he sits on his Ass neglecting Jenny and ordering more toys.
I so can't wait for Mel to go to Debbie's house that smackdown will be epic and Mel is going to wish she stayed in Canada or chose someone else to be the father.
Mel is handling this situation like she still has all the controls not realizing that she lost before it even started, the moment Gus went to Justin she lost everything and now she is hanging on by a thread.
Deb is going to snap her in half with just her voice alone no way is she taking Jenny out of that house. ( I wish the next chapter was up already I could use a big belly-aching laugh)
Lindsay wised up and jumped off the ship now she is doing the right thing for Gus and Brian, perhaps one day she will make a fantastic grown-up.
I just love a good story when Mel gets her comeuppance wish there was more like them :)

Not so fast, you're in this up to your eyeballs whether she contacts you or not. Shame on those two, that is not how the law works even in ficland. Mel going to such lengths to ignore Gus and not even try to love him is so selfish and wrong. I can't wait till she gets disbarred and goes to jail. She's tough, she can join a nice gang.
I don't trust Lindsay, but I can see how what Mel did could scare anyone straight. They are staring down the barrel of being disbarred and losing their livelihood, being criminally prosecuted and going to prison, and after that Justin can go after them civilly -- that's a lot of pain coming.

Ron you are being smart way too late if he is lucky he won't lose his license, Mel in her vindictiveness left herself wide open and if Lindsay does have the actual tape with Russo, Hobbs and the D.A. then she is toast along with the rest of them.
I want to believe that Lindsay is trying to do the right thing but I don't trust her yet, Brian isn't Mel so he would never deny her access to Gus but I wonder what she is after?

I think Mel walking into Brad's office was a stupid move and she played the wrong hand cause the investigator can find out (If they haven't already?) who passed on the information about Brian and Justin's relationship and the investigator isn't stupid enough not to know the difference between a man or a woman.
Plus if Russo is going to be under investigation he will be willing to rat Mel out if it helps him, so will Ron and Lindsay.
She thinks that by her walking into that room (alone) she could intimidate Brad she was dreaming and it made her look weak, you can't bully someone when you have no leverage or a leg to stand on.
Her lying to Child Welfare about Gus should be interesting and makes her look weak yet again.
Wonder where Lindsay was at?
She either went to the loft looking for Brian, to Deb's to tell her version of the story so Deb could go after Brian and Justin, plus to get the story out to everyone so sides can be taken, Mommy and Daddy for money, Sam Auerbach is back in the picture and she has been sleeping with him????? The possibilities are endless
Going to be interesting with all the secrets about to come out :)
