Great Chapter!! First, I have to say that time away has done wonders for David! I liked that he and Justin talked about why Michael and Lindsay act as if they have some sort of monopoly on Brian. I think he provided an impartial clarity that Justin would have been missing. Like Justin, I've often wondered what made the smart guys- Ben and David- fall for an intellectually-challenged man-child like Michael in the first place. I have to agree, that it had to be an inordinate amount of arrogance in believing that if they loved hard enough, they could change the idiot.
As for Gus: He did wonderful with the judge just by being honest. I think therapy has helped him see the difference in what he was wanting from living with the Moms vs. what he needed when living with his dads. He needed peace in his home living in the warzone known as Muncher Mansion and he needed to be carefree living in Studsville. I think living with Brian and Justin provides Gus with both of those things.
I don't trust Lindsay and Michael not to try something else. I hope they still don't know where Brian and Justin or even Mel and Ryder because I don't put it past them to set their houses on fire while they are in Hawaii. And what of the baby Lindsay is now carrying? There is no way she's going to be able to pass the baby off as Brian's and since Gus will be living with his dads, there is no child support to speak of. Because of her very public antics, I doubt very seriously that it is going to be easy for her to get a job and I don't foresee Nancy and Ron welcoming her into their lives again with all the trouble she caused. Nancy did disown her in a very public way, after all.
As for His Dumbassness Michael: has Jen condemned the building where his shop is yet? Would I be wrong for hoping that she did? I think the Big Q is awaiting him again. At least he would have something. Or maybe he will finally start a relationship with Calvin. Since Em's ex likes to mold people, I think he would have a definite shot at making a go of it with Mindless Michael.
I LOVE that Brian is finally able to move past the PITA Association and step boldly and confidently into his future with Justin. It will surely be brighter now that the dark clouds of fair-weather friends and the conniving Kinneys placed firmly behind him.

A miracle. Lindsay was on time. Brian's testimony was perfect, even the cross-examination couldn't change that. Love Melanie's testimony. I think Lindsay's lawyer was wise in not cross-examining Debbie. After all she is Michael's mother and she's testifying for Brian. Oops, Lindsay's lost it again. Yelling at Justin is certainly not in her best interest.

Between Michael and Lindsay, my palm is twitching to smack the FIRE out of them! Conniving and egotistical doesn't even begin to describe these two idiots! First Michael and his petty jealousy then Lindsay with hers...SMH But on the bright side... Daphne was absolutely FABULOUS to pull those feelings to the surface during the court proceedings and all while the Wonder Twits thought the maintained their supposed upper hands. That very public spanking they are receiving smacked the smugness right out of them. Now next it will be Brian's turn to squash their delusions of grandeur!
Brian should have found the nearest Window and tossed Michael’s patethic ass through it at the hospital but of course he did well to let the judge hear his deranged rantings and ramblings of Michael Novotny for himself. No one could have believed what a low down yellow-belly snake Michael is unless it happened with their own ears. He's had years to perfect that dewy-eyed innocent and martyr persona he wears as tight and as often as a stripper wears their favorite g-string. I think his cunt-buddy (definitely NOT a typo) Calvin even learned a valuable lesson about Michael! At least i hope so for his sake... even if I can't can't stand the raggedy rat bastard. As for Lindsay, this is the PERFECT revenge for her. Obscurity will be her self-made, iron-clad and well-deserved prison. Hopefully by the time this is finished, she won't even have visitation rights. She's toxic in every way that matters and shouldn't be let loose around humanity in general, let alone an impressionable youth especially one with access to Brian's ears and coffers. Trifling HO!!
