While I get why Hunter did what he did, from a parently point of view, I'd be furious and scared shitless! He just shouldn't take that burden on himself. Ben and Michael need to figure it out for themselves. Hopefully he's all sorted out now. I also hope that Ben listens to justin. Brian actually gave more of an explanation than I expected him to. Good on him. Justin also backed it up with his own words which pretty much summed up Brian's.
While I felt bad for Emmett, perhaps it's a needed lesson for him. Fun gossip is all fun adn games and is harmless, but he needs to learn to curb it sometimes. (possible plot bunny for another story?? Have always wanted to read something like that.) He truly means well, but intentions aside, he really does talk before he thinks sometimes.
Wonder what's happening back in the Pitts right now since Ben and Hunter are in NY? Is Michael realizsing anything? Is Deb? Will either of them learn?

First off, I'm terribly sorry for not reviewing in forwever. I pretty much stayed off line during the holidays. I was on enough to read a bit in the evenings, but that's it. I had 10 days for glorious "me" time, where I spent it with my daughter for the most part.
AS for this story....As usually you are brilliant. Loving it. I can't remember the last time I wote anything, but, either way, it's a terrific story.
It's amazing that Deb just doesn't see how she's enabling Michael. Everyone needs to fix him or fix the situation, or fix his and Ben's relationship, or fix his and justin's realationship. I think everyone sees it but her. (and Michael of course) for her sake I hope she does at some point.
Am really really really glad that the boys as well as M&L are looking into moving to New York. They are right on the money when they talk of everyone being involved in their relationship. I think it's best for all involved that they do this. Let's face it, shit is seriously going to hit the fan when everyone finds out, or rather when Deb and Michael find out, but it's for teh best. (and more importantly, it's going to be delicious to read what you do with them all! )
Definitely looking forward to more.

Okay, now I am all caught up here....First let me say that I'm not too hot on the idea of Mel having a child with Justin. Don't get me wrong they would probably make pretty strawberry blond children together, I think it's the fact that the circle is a little too tight. However, this is a great story and I love how everyone is expressing what their needs are. Micheal needs to understand that none of them owe him a damn thing. He is not their keeper and should back off before Ben ends their marriage. And I really feel for Justin for having to find out the way he did. But now that he knows, I can't see him taking it easy on Mikey.

I'm glad that Lindsay advised Brian to tell Justin first. It was definitely something that should have come from his partner, even though most of them wouldn't have used the knowledge to hurt Justin. Emmett finally lighting into Michael's ass was LONG OVERDUE! It's amazing that Michael was so busy spouting that no one in the 'family' should have secrets from him and Deb yet he was perfectly content with hiding his own idiocy and viciousness; absolutely fine with everyone blaming Brian for an apparent loss of control while he came off looking like an abused friend and victim.
As for Deb... It's amazing how one set of rules goes for everyone else except for her and most of the time, Michael. She sees nothing wrong with her sticking her mouth in Brian/Justin and Mel/Lindsay's business regarding their baby but tells Michael that what happened between Brian-Justin-Ethan was none of his affair? Pot calling the Kettle a spoon, much Deb? I'm glad that Justin has decided to take a page from Mel and Lindsay's book and to agree with Brian that they should not return to Pittsburgh. Of course I feel sorry for Emmett, Blake and Ted to be stuck there having to put up with the Whine Brigade but those four really do need peace. They've earned it! As for Rage... if Justin picks it back up at a later date fine but for right now, I agree that he needs much distance from any sort of relationship- friendship or business partnership- with Michael. I wonder how Ben is going to take the news... well that is, if Michael even grows a set of balls to tell him the truth and ruin his perfection in yet another person's eyes.

Brian and Justin talking about the time Justin stayed with Michael and Ben is big. I'm glad that Justin is willing to sell Britin. I love how Justin says the house isn't his home that Brian is. The only one that moving away wasn't an answer for was Michael. Why does he think that because it didn't work for him it won't work for anyone else? I can understand why Ben isn't pleased with him, he's got a one track mind. Ted gives him wonderful advice and he's not listening. Perhaps Jennifer should go up to see Mel and Linds. It certainly seem that there will be problems if they go to Pittsburgh.

Debbie has a lot of nerve calling Jennifer before Justin could talk to her. I think it's going to be difficult to always tell Jennifer first. It's nice how supportive Emmett and Ted are. I see that the only the main people in Brian and Justin's lives know why Brian hit Mikey at the party. Trying to keep away from Mikey is a problem especially when he decides to stop in NY where B&J aren't. Justin is almost as bad as Michael when it comes to the baby, but at least he's only reading and not following Melanie around whining.
