Wow, these character tweeks work. Mikey is edgier and a complete jerk. Justin is scrappy. Ben is manipulative. Blake is awesome and Brian's friend. Emmett and Ted are coming around to sanity. Deb being fair and Mel/Linds being normal squared is cute too. It all makes for a really interesting read. The audacity of Mikey to say he'd talk to Justin, seriously he's riddiculous. I appreciated Brian's threat, we will see how Mikey handles himself.

Debbie is actually listening to others and forming her own opinion. That's new. Thank you for not alloiwng her to defend Michael no matter what he does.
I'm glad that Justin and Blake are forming a quick friendship. Can't wait for some more Brian/Justin time.

Justin is right to not want to be around Ted and Emmett they prejudged him based just on what Michael said, they let Michael dictate how they treat everyone and refused to see that there actions were putting a strain on their relationships to the point where they would rather walk away.
Ted is finally trying to be the kind of man Blake will respect instead of a disciple of Michael who is trying to be Brian and is lacking in every sense.
I do wonder what Michael did to Mel and Lindsay to tick them off?
Glad that Deb is acting like a mature woman wanting to get the truth instead of blindly listening to Michael and going off half-cocked.
She is starting to realize that she must temper her behavior if she wants everyone to be around her.
I just want to smack Ben for letting this happens because he is too weak to tell Michael to be his husband or get out!
Can't Wait For The Next Chapter :)

Deb got a triple dose of reality. Blake Lindsey and Justin all informed her of Michael's behaviour. Thankfully she listened. Nice that she wants to get to know Justin. DAmn...that boy tells itlike it is doesn't he! He really nailed it with his synopsis of Ted and Emmett. Michaels effected their relationships because they let him. spot on.
Dollars for donuts Michael doesn't listen to Brian. HE only hears what he wants to hear and ignores the rest. Doesn't matter if Brian hints or hells it out plain as day, Michaelw on't get it. His so called friends are all going to fall by the way side and he'll just be left with Ben. Mind you, Ben just may like that.
Ted standing up for Brian...who'da thought?

Yay, a Deb that knows her son is an idiot. I hope we find out more of what Michael did to the girls. I do love a Justin with a backbone...I think that is why I really like your stories, Justin is all-man in them, not an over-emotional wreck waiting for Brian to solve his problems. (Even the mpreg doesn't have Justin cast in the "female" role)
BTW I have loved all your stories but I kind of forget to review each chapter. So take this as a blanket "LOVE" for every story you have posted so far.

What I love in particular about his fic, is that while you've changed the characterisitcs of some of the characters, it's still completely plausible. Emmett and Ted's attitudes, they way you've sritten them, I can visualize. They're not hateable, just have been manipulated by Michael for so long that it's become second nature.
Good background on Brian's thought process leading up to finally taking those steps towards Justin.
Liked how Deb was patient. She waited and she listened. Seems like she's not going to just placate Michael's whims blindly. Hopefully she'll continue. I think Carl will keep her on the straight and narrow.
Really liked how Carl kept Ben accountable!! He's goin gto need to continue to do that I think.
After Michael spoke to Ted the way he did, I really hope that Ted has woken up and seen things as they really are. He seems to have, I just hope he doesn' fall back into old habits. Will he really see how awful Michael was to Blake.
Chat between Blake and Justin, in front of Michael is funny. Seeming to ignore him, but speaking loud enough that he hears him.

Michael truly is an asshole and so is Ben. ARGH!!! I can't belive he is still allowing everyone to believe there was more than just a teacher/student relationship between him and Justin.
I'm glad that Brian was able to help Blake in his time of need. It's refreshing to see him be so open with his emotions and feelings.

I feel Ben not righting the situation is going to come back and bite him in the Ass, because despite the seconds of time Michael gives him his husband hasn't stopped chasing after Brian.
As a matter of fact now that Michael knows Justin is with Brian I don't see Michael spending a lot of time stroking Ben's ego anymore
Deb going to Brian like an adult instead of a screaming harpy makes me think that she is starting to see Michael isn't the angel she always made him out to be (fingers crossed).
Even after finding out what Michael said and seeing him tap dance to cover up his lie Ted still stood by and when he finally moved it was too late, how does he expect Blake to take him seriously if he continues to listen to Michael and play the fool??
Blake can't play second fiddle to Ted's constant need to placate Michael and until Ted Man Up then Blake won't give him the time of day.
I can't wait for the next chapter :)

Read all six chapters and I must say I like that Brian is being more assertive and putting Ted and Emmett in their place while also not jumping when Michael whines or Deb starts yelling.
I am disappointed in Ben for taking the cowards way out so he can get all Michael's attention, though how much is he actually getting if Michael is still chasing Brian?
You settled for Michael while knowing that he is in love with Brian so deal with the consequences, instead of implying without saying it that Justin is interested in you.
Emmett and Ted are real disappointments because they believe whatever Michael says why denigrating Brian to be an Asshole who never did anything for them.
By telling Michael that Brian is with Justin you are avoiding yet again what Michael did to ruin any chance at a relationship.
I hope Emmett is prepared to deal with the wrath of one pissed off Brian Kinney, Justin Taylor because I don't think they are going to take this lying down.
Love that Mel and Lindsay are standing by Brian and Justin cause they are going to need as many allies as they can get now that Michael knows.
I seriously hope someone kicks Ben Ass for behaving just like Michael.

I agree it is a shame that you're gorgeous and still have to fight to keep Mikey, but this is a dangerous game. And I love Carl oh, and Linds, Mel, and big gold star for Blake. He was willing to help Emmett but not dumb enough to trust him not to gossip about him and Brian. He told Em info he had no right to know to avoid the obvious, smart, very smart.
