I see both ways with which Michael could get arrested. The theft charge is wrong. If they fingerprinted the stuff in the bag, Michael's prints wouldn't be on them.
He does need to be arrested for drugging Brian, but if the judge waives the charges since there were no lasting effects, so be it. But Michael will lose. No Brian. No other friends, and no mom or uncle. It will be a very lonely life. I think he will find it hard to make new friends. The gay grapevine will be ramped up about him.
