I am so jealous of Justin  , it took over 50 years for me to get jury duty.  I thought you captured the workings fairly well.   My jury box had old wooden office chairs that leaned back. They made noise every time someone moved. It was horrible.

So glad you finished this. I wondered how they were going to meet up. Looking forward to Mooniight camp.

Wish this story would continue.  So upsetting when writers leave stories unfinished.

I'm happpy with this chapter.  You have everything in it.  You have Justin drugged and who knows what would have happen only it wouldn't because Brian would have stopped it if the raid hadn't happened.  Another element that was surprising.  Then when Justin makes it home his grandfather is up.  Gotta love him.  He makes all the sense in the world, which is good since he seems to want to rule it.

I should have known that Mikey would be the one to screw up.  The surprise was that Mel was the most helpful.  That was good.  Vic's testimony was also wonderfull and I wanted to smack the prosecutor.  But then I'd be the one going to jail.

Love Justin's granny.  Your witnesses were something else.  After Joan testified I think the jury would have let him off just because they felt living with the witch was enough punishment.  Debbie was really a turnabout.  She tried hard.  Emmett was adorable and Ted was perfect.   Nice job.

Glad you're feeling better. Great job so far! I hope the real killer wasn't as careful or as smart as he believes himself to be. Now that we know he had access to Michael's spare key, I think it's safe to say that it's David. He's always been a selfish bastard when it came to Michael's time and attention (not that I will EVER understand why). Too bad there doesn't seem to have been security cameras at the loft or an eyewitness to Kip's arrival. But what about airport security? Couldn't those tapes have been subpoenaed as well as Brian checking in to board his flight? Something has to prove that he's telling the truth and that he wasn't anywhere near Kip Thomas on the night of the murder! Hopefully, they are missing something crucial.

As for Justin, I hope that the other jurors don't discount the fact that he is young, specifically the one Brian thinks of as a bitch. He's far from stupid! In any event, I'm relieved that Jennifer is away from Craig so that Justin can have a chance to shape his life the way he wants. "D & J- The College Years" is going to be a blast. Hopefully, Brian will be available soon to rock Justin's world!

I'm really enjoying this and looking forward to the next installment!

Happy Writing and HUGS,

~Nichelle

Ahha, you gave it away.  I won't say who in case nobody else caught it.  Why spoil a great story.  So Daphne and Justin will be roommates.  That might not last long once Brian gets off.  You will get him off won't you?

Author's Response:

Sorry, I know people love a good suspense but I promise it will make sense why I spoiled that so early. As for Brian getting off, when doesn't he? LOL

I love Justin's grandparents.  I know he still feels the need to hide from his family but it sounds like they would be very accepting.

Let me guess...the teenager at the zoo was Brian.  Love it!!!

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you like them. Yep, that would be the sixteen year old kid, I couldn't help it.

Oh rats.  You've really got Brian in trouble, come to think of it Justin's not happy that his grandparents know he's gay.  Shame Jennifer is in denial.

Author's Response:

Yep Brian's in trouble deep. Justin's not unhappy, he's grandparents are just really embarrasing. Yep, Jennifer living in the land of denial.

Wow!  Didn't see Brian being charged with murder.  Great start.

Author's Response:

Thank you. I hope you like the new chapter

Hmmm, Kip Thomas huh.  I wonder who really killed him.  I know it couldn't be Brian though I'm sure he had good reason.

Author's Response:

Hehe. It's gonna be a kind of whodoneit, I already know if that helps. LOL

Well that's interesting.  Let's hope that the grandparents take a dim view of Craig.  So a murder case!  Sounds like fun.

Author's Response:

Thank you. I hope you like the grandparents.
