Carl might as well just bring home the police report and show it to Deb; punkass Michael still isn't going to tell her...SMH It looks like instead of Michael trying to rebuild his own life, he's trying to adopt Brian's former or even a part of Justin's for that matter. When will he learn that he's not built for that life?
Although I'm truly happy for Justin doing a show for Sydney, I do NOT trust Lindsay at all! I wouldn't put it passed her to try and sabotage Justin's budding career out of spite.

The first paragraph was like water after a long walk in the desert.
As for the end, I'm glad that Justin cleared the air with his mother even if it was painful for both of them. She, indeed, broke his trust several times when he really needed her by his side. As you wrote it so well, she also hurt Brian in the process.
So happy that Brian trusts Ted enough to let him drive his "baby" when he intends to retire. I'm surprised that Cynthia was not part of it (or maybe I forgot something you wrote before or maybe it will come later?).
I hope that Molly and Gus going towards the wood is not going to be a problem.
As for Super Stupido, he seems not having put 2 and 2 together yet...

Justin unconditional love and understanding centers Brian, giving him the strength to not buckle under the presser from Deb and Michael. It was a long time coming, and Justin needed to express his feelings. He loves his mom, but he also resents her interference. Brian finally for the first time has a true best friend, one that has his best interest at heart. Michael is a slimy worm who's about to slither away leaving a trail of destruction in his path... I love the new update. I'm so glad that Carl put Deb in her place about bullying Brian. What I don't about what Deb is doing is just accuses Brian of everything without seeing what Michael did. Yes, Deb, you need to blame Michael, he is a big boy. It's not fair everyone thinks Brian doesn't have feelings he does. Brian has learned from a very young age that he had to be very self-protective. Brian being with Justin has taught him that is okay for him to be himself and someone will still love him. Justin was showing him from the moment he met Brian and named Gus. Gus is his son and will love him unconditionally. I love how Brian has grown in this story you are doing a great job with it and I can't wait for more.

Deb needed to be told that she has been bullying Brian since he was fourteen, blaming him for everything Michael does, protecting Michael just so she would continue to love him, Carl had to do it so she can realize that what she did was just as bad as what Jack and Joan did.
Deb mentally abused Brian for years and so did Michael in a way if he didn't jump when Michael said then he had Debbie breathing down in neck, every time Michael screwed up or got bullied there was Brian taking the hits for whittle Mikey, I wonder if Vic ever tried to have a conversation with Debbie about the way she treated Brian?
Now that she knows will she change her ways and apologize to Brian because after everything he has been through Deb really should grovel (doubt she will the Novotnys really don't like change).

Deb really needs to buy a freaking CLUE! If I were Brian I probably would have killed Michael, performed CPR to bring him back to life, then called the police! The nerve!! I'm glad there was surveillance video. Since Deb can't believe the things she's hearing, perhaps she'll FINALLY understand what her eyes have been telling her all along. Her son is a spoiled, petulant NUTBALL who needs to grow up and be held accountable for his actions.
