OMG how intense, how heartbreaking, how painful! What an amazing chapter! How fortunate that Brian was with Alex right now. He knows Justin and knows so well what he needs in those moments.
"You think you stalked me? I'll show you fucking stalking." - haha, yeah Brian, fight for your man!
That moment when they looked eyes for the first time. So beautiful. And even if it was just a short moment, it will maybe give Brian strength to fight and hold on, because the old Justin's still somewhere inside there. And even if it wasn't much, it was a start. They communicated for the first time. Regarding the daily nightly visits of Brian at the hospital - I really don't understand why Jennifer never told Justin. And I totally understand that this information doesn't help Justin at the moment an even makes him more angry. But this was a start and it's good that Justin at least agreed to talk to Alex again!

Holy Jitterbugs, I was NOT ready for them to meet like that, but my GOD, they needed it, and that was so effing perfect. Every time one of them said something, I was like, mmhmm, YEP!!! They need to help each other, Brian needs to prove he's changed, but Justin needs to learn to trust again. It's gonna be hard, but like Brian said, he's Justin fucking Taylor!

Justin needed to explode keeping the hurt and anger locked inside was poisoning him day by day.
Brian proved he was strong enough to take the hits and the truths Justin had to say.
Brian admitting he was there at the hospital was just the balm Justin needed to take away the coldness and distance Brian inflicted and everyone else basked in.
And basked they did cause they saw Brian and Justin as a joke and ignored the love they felt for each other, if Brian had done that crap to them they would've crucified him by throwing his past back in his face.
Words have quite the power to destroy someone when used in cruel ways.
Brian looking into Justin's blank eyes us seeing a man without a heart is just a machine, and Justin wasn't meant to be a machine he had too much heart for anyone.
But once a heart is broken it takes more than glue to put it back together.
Brian has to be stronger than glue to help mend Justin's broken heart and rebuild his self-esteem which is more fragile than glass right now.
Justin is willing to accept the money and talk to Alex but they still have a long road to go.
This was beautifully written and moved me to tears.

Another punch in the guts! A hard one.
I hope Justin will think about what happened and was said when he will calm down; that Brian didn't know Justin was so bad after he left and that Brian came to see him every night after the bashing.
At least, they started talking and touching and Brian felt Justin not fighting him during his episode, even after it.
I can see hope and a bumpy road again.

Thanks, hon, and yeah, it was brutal to write. Several of these chapters have been, and they leave me absolutely stuffed emotionally after writing them. My BF has always said that she loves how well I do angst, considering I am one of the most happy-go-lucky people she knows, and that the most angst driven thing I encounter on a daily basis, is how to get the kettle to boil faster in the morning while I'm waiting for my first coffee.
