Tough chapter! I really need to go back to a few chapters to find the link between Brian and Memphis.

My goodness only twenty-three and sentenced to a life her never asked for, so proud of him for fighting back and finding the strength to keep fighting.

Not surprised about why Lindsay wanted to get pregnant with Gus but as usual her careful plans blew up in her face, Gus is doing just fine with the people who love him Tremendously and when he is older and ready to hear the full story he will continue to be just fine.

Deb serving Michael with a restraining order is surprising, so is her finally admitting why she started abusing Brian

Yes, Brian So Needed Nonna and to get away going to Italy is just what they need to regroup and find their stability.

Brian is dealing with so much and he needs to decompress.

deb knows why she started she just doesn't want to say it out loud because then it will really be true about why she abused Brian.

forgiveness is earned not handed out like candy and until Deb admits the truth she will never find forgiveness in herself she has already lost The Family and this time she will really have to depend on herself to get by.

Deb can't answer Vic's question truthfully.  Shame.  So Olivia is not only Gus cousin but his sister.  Will they tell him?

I FINALLY got a chance to read today. I have been biting at the bit, as they say, to get to this!!!!!

You kind of threw me right at the beginning when the Forewoman wanted a no dissenters ruling. Maybe I'm under the wrong impression, but I was thinking that was a ruling when there was more than one judge. But, whatever, you explained everything beautifully, so there was no confusion on my part.

So, Debbie was not found guilty on child neglect or abuse. Ever hear of verbal abuse? She was definitely guilty of verbal abuse. My personal opinion, I don't think an apology hardly makes up for all the things she said over the years: 

"YOU FUCKING SON OF A BITCH" .... “HEY ASSHOLE, MOMMY’S HERE"

“YOU UNGRATEFUL FUCKING BASTARD OF AN ASSHOLE! OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW OR I WILL MAKE WHAT YOUR DAD DID SEEM LIKE A WALK IN THE FUCKING PARK!”

Case in point. And those are just a few I remembered where to find off the top of my head. She also threatened him. But as far as neglect, in Brian's case 'no', but in raising her son, YES!!! (but that was not on trial here.)

Although Joan got sentenced to five years, I don't think she's ever going to wake up to enjoy that residence.

Michael... YES, YES, YES!!!  He thinks he so smart. Untouchable. I sure hope his next two weeks prove interesting. I assume he's not going to find any comrades in prison.  Maybe he will bunked up with 'BUBBA'.

Abergin! YES!!!  PERFECT!  Let Michael pay for his defense. Serves him right! An abuser pays for counsel for an abusee.  I have a question though - Debbie's 50%, does that include her home, too? That is an asset. If that is the case, she owes an enormous amount, too.

Still wondering what is going to happen to Lindsay, though. last we heard about her, it sounds like everything is settles with her. She can't possibly go free with no recourse, can she?
