Love the way the family is coming together.
John is determined to be the father his sons deserve and Brian believes he will but still makes certain that John knows the family will be there for them.
Justin shopping with Molly is really sweet. Daphne and Emmett joining them just adds to the fun. Plus Emmett gets to be the good son! LOL!

Hi... Just read this story. It's awesome! Did Michael still have a key to Brian's loft when Claire got pregnant? Could Brian actually be the father? I know that's a sick idea... just a thought I had when I first read that part. The thing is, if it's Michael's, did they conceive it the old fashioned way? We know neither Michael or Claire can support the baby, but will Claire still refuse to give it up? Is Michael still living off his proceeds from Deb selling all his collectibles? Because, if he was doing drugs and drinking heavily he had to have gone through quite a bit of money. Where is he living? What was Michael thinking charging towards Justin at Claire's house? At least he admitted in front of the police and child services, that Claire was doing everything to stay away from the house. Also, he admitted he was getting the information from the Peterson's, in front of Brian and Justin...
Claire! What a royal bitch! How could she have fallen for the crap Michael spewed? Anyone with half a brain can see Michael's delusional. Okay... Maybe she only has a pea brain. So glad John SR is in the picure again. Craig and Brian have found a way to keep him in Pittsburgh to build a life with his sons. Sure he was wrong to abandoned them all those yrs ago, but IMO, better to abandon than turn into beating the wife and kids. Maybe when the relationships start to grow, John and Peter can find out that John SR has been sending almost all his money to Claire to support them.
Lindsay is something else. What a sick mind she has. Not sure of the dollar amount Craig gave her, but I think her greed will get the best of her and she will contest the adoption, throwing caution to the wind, regardless of Reese's warning.
Glad that Brian, Justin and Gus are going out of the country, there's probably no way any of them will be able to contact them, and it will give them all a chance to work on their family. They will be no situation to come back in case someone does call.
Well, so happy I finally read this. I left a comment earlier, and for some it wasn't posted tonight, when I checked back in to the comments page. Thank you for sharing this story with us...

Wonderful update! Love how Justin's family is coming together and joining in with Brian's. The boys will have a great support system and be able to get to know their dad without feeling pushed.
I think Brian figured out what Justin would be up against shopping with Molly so he sent Emmett. LOL! Leave all fashion decisions to Emmett; it's much safer that way.

Understanding Michael's reasoning isn't easy but Emmett did a good job of explaining. I think John Sr. is going to be a welcome addition to the family.

John Sr. is now ready to deal with the cor of his leaving John and Peter to deal with Claire, he is ready to be the parry he should've been from the beginning, but wasn't to because Claire like bet in control.
Michael and Claire are about to get a dose of reality neither of them is ready for, Brian is going to let them sink cause his family is his top priority.
It is always being to have more than one safety net and now they all are covered.
While the others have to figure out how to save themselves.
