Between your chapter title and Lindsay, I found myself singing:
Doctor Doctor, gimme the news/I got a bad case of lovin' Brian/No pill's gonna cure my ill/I got a bad case of lovin' Brian.
But, I know there is no pill strong enough or doctor good enough to cure what ails her. All that baby furniture?! Where oh where did the money come from? While Mel was out loaning expensive cars... Lindsay apparently was spending every dime on baby items. Just how much money do they owe? I'm so afraid she actually found a way to get pregnant by Brian... because when I think about it... Lindsay wouldn't want any other baby sperm in her belly. The thing is... is it left over from Gus? or did she steal some from the loft?
When Ted said Mel had an aneurysm in the ambulance... I thought an aneurysm was a pre-consisting condition. Did she have one and it burst? Well, she's definitely out of the running for being Gus' parent at the moment.
Michael, Michael... thank you for letting Cynthia know you had more collectibles! How dumb are you? And I hope you missed *roll call*. You need a home and meals... you can get three in jail.
You sure have the DUMB BRIGADE coming out in full force.
Debbie's place sounds just like something she would like... back to the sixties. It sounds like she has extra room... so be sure she stands strong against Michael. I can see him following her to see where she lives!

Author's Response: I'd say give her drugs, but I have to think of the baby first. Lindsay maxed out all the credit cards in Canada, leaving them broke, needing to return to Pittsburgh. The miracles of modern science,with frozen embryos of Brian's sperm left over from Gus's conception, Brian's going to be a daddy again. Mel ignored her doctors advice, leaving her blood pressure unchecked, developing an aneurysm. Yep, it's dumb, dumb, and dumber... Debbie condo is so her, she's been lost in the sixties forever... Great update. So many things going on. Lindsay needs a lot of help- thinking she is pregnant with Brian's baby=- oh boy and then Melanie with her Anyuerism- yikes. Brian needed to go home to semblance of order and that's a tall order with a young child. Loving this story and I hope you update soon.

If I were Brian, you couldn't pay me enough to see Lindsay's Dr. or even consider going to one of her sessions. Let her live in her land of delusion. She'll be save and sound behind locked doors.
Hope they add plenty of time to Michael's sentence. Not being back by head count is a big no no.
Love the way Cynthia always puts him in his place.
Sounds like a stoke for Mel or close to it. She won't be able to care for Dusty's three kids, let alone Gus. How quick will Ted be to pick up Brian's revelation as to his relationship with Justin?
Gus just loves his daddy. Yeah think daddy should try to plan something special for Gus' birthday.
Deb, hope it all works out and Michael never finds her. She or Brian better get all his "toys" out frtom the basement before Michael ever gets back there. Share the money between Brian and Deb. Michael's an idiot for saying anything at all.

Lindsay needs to be locked in a deserted island where she can't hurt anyone and she can live out her delusions without hurting others.
Michael needs a crib of his own so he can't hurt anyone but himself in Lindsay's island of Misplaced Broken Toys.
I feel bad Melanie is I'll bubuyt I also think she deserves a spot on Lindsay's island too so she can live in her delusions that Brian is to blame for her problems.
Gus needs a stable environment that neither Melanie or Lindsay can provide because they are too caught up in their own drama to care about the pain they cause that little boy.
Lindsay spent money on baby stuff and just expects Brian to give in to get fantasy, not won't she be surprised when Brian tells her he is marrying Justin.
Lindsay's parents should really be attending to Lindsay's care since Mel is incapacitated this is not Brian's problem, neither is Mel's care but Brian has a better heart than either of them out together.
I hope Michael is late checking in.
Perhaps Justin should go with Brian to see Lindsay?

Author's Response: Hmmm, a desert island? Is there survivor for the obsessive, manipulative and delusional? If so I'll call ahead and make a reservation for three, ha, ha, ha... Now that Gus has to loving father's he's never going to feel frightened and scared again. I think will wait awhile before we tell Lindsay about Justin, or she might really go crazy. WHEW!!! The CUCKOO TRAIN HAS LEFT THE BUILDING!!! Lindsay needs to be locked on the Ward permanently and kept constantly sedated since it's the ONLY way she'll ever have that fantasy. I really wonder whose baby she's carrying. I can't imagine that Brian would have left any samples after Gus' conception for her to get ahold of, or Melanie for that matter.
Michael is such a CHILD! OMG! I wanted to just deck him! Is it wrong of me to hope he doesn't make it to the jail on time and that they make him serve the full sentence all at once? I know, I know... EVIL CHELLE, BAD GIRL! But a gal can live in hope, right?
I don't know what I feel about Melanie right now. On one hand, I'm trying to be sympathetic. As a person with a chronic migraine condition, there is always the fear and worry that they will turn into something more, or that something is seriously wrong when I get them. However, her constant bitchiness and bitterness, makes it hard for me to NOT want to slap her into the next century! Justin handled her very well though, as did Brian. I'm hoping that although her collapse is indeed serious, that it will also be the wake up call and attitude adjustment that she needs.
Poor Brian! Having to deal with all these crazy asses and the march of a thousand boxes was just too damn much, even for me! Where did Lindsay get the money to be able to send all that crap, and to Kinnetik no less... Oh, but wait! Is that the real reason they couldn't make ends meet in Toronto? Does Melanie know?
I am so completely engrossed in this story, as I am with your others, Kathleen! You are such a gifted storyteller!

Michael, this time he actually makes it back in time, but being Michael he's soon to fuck-up royally again. Well... I'm sorry to hear about your migraines, but Mel isn't in the clear by a long shot. Lindsay, has spent the last six months planning her future with Brian. That's how she put them in so much debt, maxing out all the credit cards.
