WHOO-HOO!!! What a heart-stopping chapter, StarBaby! As always it was so worth the wait. OMG! I wanted to punch the hell out of Ethan. I mean of all the times to pull a Mikey just having to know why he couldn't possibly measure up to cow dung, let alone Brian Kinney... what a total MORON! He may or may not do jail time for his part in all of this, but yeah, I think he's already beginning to pay plenty with his foray into total obscurity. Couldn't happen to a more deserving asshole! Somehow, I'm hoping that Zane will move on with Corey, and that Ethan will be front and center to see it!
As for Michael,: What can I possibly say except OH YEAH! That wonderful, and all-too-true adage that when digging one ditch, you should dig two is definitely making his appearance here. While he was joining Collier in all his plans, Collier was making sure that Michael wouldn't get out of any of his own idiocy unscathed.
BTW... Can I borrow Corey's gun? I think he should have fired another shot... right dead in the crack of Collier's ass! I'm so happy and relieved that little punk will get everything that's coming to him. BUT I also really, REEEEEAAAALLLLLY want his parents to pay for their inaction, too. They knew that the little bastard needed to be locked away in a medical facility for his own good, as well as everyone else's peace of mind. Yet they did absolutely nothing but deny that their son was both a psychopath and a sociopath in order for them to keep their illusion of status. I hope it all blows up in the faces, and they are dismissed as the social pariahs they are!

This was a very good update, and the mystery kept us on the edge of our seats for a bit.
I can't see how Collier's lawyers will be able to spin a not-guilty out of this, because not only did he shoot at three people (one in uniform)... but Justin can verify that Collier had him kidnapped before he ever brought Ethan in, and that Collier had plans to kill Ethan: Dead men can't talk - isn't that how he said it?
As far as Michael financing everything, he can certainly tell them how Collier promised to pay him back for everything, once he completed counseling and got his money. NOT that I think Michael should br redeemed, they aren't my favorite scenario. He can also tell thm about Colliers crazed dominany in bed.
I could almost see Deb's blush at the end and I'm so happy to see her letting Michael sink on this.

Collier finally did something stupid that can't be easily explained away and that his parents can't hush up, shooting at sheriff pretty much guarantees he is going down and not in a life affirming way.
Lassie is very deserving of a living home and to be spoiled for the rest of his life.
Ethan will have to find someone else to take care of and cater to his whiny ass Kane may have found someone finally worthy of his heart.
Brian and Justin getting out of town while the vultures swarm is good they need time together to heal from this trauma and reconnect.
Michael seriously makes stupid look smart he is so doing time and will be forgotten the second he is sentenced, at last he will get the attention he wants but he won't enjoy it as much as he thinks because he is going to be torn apart.

So, Collier is crazier than a bedbug! or, maybe not, because he is predictable. I can't believe he shoved his father and didn't get reprimanded by his parents. The rest know he will lead them to Justin, but with him and Ethan on the run, they aren't going to know where to look, but at least, Collier is caught red-handed. Just how crazy is he going to act when he shows up with the others trailing behind, and Collier is holding a gun?
Ethan is so stupid. When you mentioned the sheriff, I'm thinking some fifty-yr-old, pot-bellied, half-bald guy down in the boonies... yet the sheriff slept with Ethan. Just how old is Sheriff Zane?
I'm wondering if both Collier's parents and Michael can get into trouble for withholding evidence and lying to the police. They could say they were in collusion with them...
Either way, Mama Maria is going to be ousted out of the set and class she deems so worthy to be in. She is fully aware of how deranged her son is... and is covering it up. I think Jennifer's clout will oust her out!

I think Michael finally realized his own delusions weren't going to pan out. The longer he talked, he kept digging his own grave deeper and deeper. I have to wonder how Debbie will take all this? Is she going to stick to her guns about letting Mikey take care of his own shit, or is she going to rush to widdle Mikey's side, blaming Big, Bad Brian?
Dog... friend or foe? I'm voting friend. If he was laying his head on Justin before Collier came in, I would say that the dog recognizes good from evil? Where are they? They must be in some remote place. Do Collier's parents have any lake property that they'd have a cabin?

Oh, crap, lady! You have one heck of a suspense going on! It must have taken Collin quite a bit of time to get there if Kip came in, left the water, and they drank it and by the time Collin got, he already had Justin gone.

Did Collier use his own car being his money was cut off? How are he and Justin going to survive with no money?

Hi, Star... Sorry I've been M.I.A.for a while. After the site went down I've been playing catch up, besides writing quite a bit. There was a discussion on FB last week, and Nichelle made comment about one of your stories. I knew I had read it before, but I couldn't remember it really well, so I was up all night reading it. (Now I've been playing catch up sleep)... anyway, after reading that, I got anxious for some of your other stories, so I figured I'd start catching up. The last few chapters of this have been so good.
So glad Collier wasn't able to snow Alex. But I'm a little worried what Michael may have planned. If he thought Corey wouldn't be there, does he plan to have Collier make waves so they have to focus on him, leaving Michael open to Brian? Well, I hope they let Michael think no ones around and set a GIANT mouse trap for him.
I'm happy Lindsay handled the new baby idea well.
I'm still waiting for Nell to find Emmett's special stone.

That dog doesn't deserve steak he deserves pampering for the rest of his life and beyond, Hell even line deserves pampering.
Ethan is a Huge Idiot but if he helps Justin get back to Brian maybe he doesn't deserve another smack upside the head or a punch to the throat.
Collier's parents should have everything taken away from them since they see protecting Collier is as important as protecting their good name.
They are about to learn what a Mother Scorned is really like and Deb might want to watch her back too because Jennifer Taylor is not the type of woman or mother to take an apology lightly and destroying anyone who hurts her children is going to bring out a dark side very few have seen it heard about.

Although there is so very MUCH to say about this chapter (such as the fact that my heart raced the entire time as I devoured each and every word), I won't go into all the details. It will take entirely too long, and might even have you running for cover since I'm so mad at the Idiot Brigade, LOL
But I wanted to drop you a line to tell you how much I appreciated your effort to provide us with a chapter. I personally KNOW how difficult that is to do when RL is so hectic you can barely even breathe, let alone find time to sleep and other necessary things that have absolutely NOTHING to do with writing FREE entertainment.
So that said, don't worry about the other stories; just update when you can should you even feel like it. People tend to forget that we actually live the busiest lives imaginable (and you KNOW my story, just as I know yours). But in the meantime, you are in ALL my thoughts and prayers. Keep your head up my Darling! Life has a way of growing us, and showing us who and what we were put on this earth to be, especially in the moments when our precious sanity and sprituality is tested the most. Michnis so stupid but that stupidity will help to make sure he hopefully never gets out of prison and that he isn't worth the effort to hit much less talk to anymore.
