Poor Brian. Mikey is so oblivious. I had no faith in Mikey but had hoped for Brian's sake he would buy a clue. Unfortunately with some people anything that doesn't fit their view of the world just doesn't exist.

Michael is so self centered that he probably has not really digested the fact that Brian hasn't been around due to his desire to stay sober.

Trying to keep Mikey from thinking he needed to be with Brian to keep him from driving drunk does not seem to compute. Maybe he needs to find something he can do with Mikey that doesn't involve drinking? Maybe attend comic conventions?

I think that at this point in time, Mikey would have to offer something they could do together. Brian has waited five months for him to accept his sobriety, but it appears that he has not wanted to go that route.

Of course Michael didn't get it. To get it he has to let go of partying, tricking Brian.

Michael had a vested interest in seeing Brian continue to drink. It gave him an identity, rescuer. Let's hope Brian is ready to move forward with his friendships and chooses better ones.

I'm not a Michael fan. I always thought he was very "all about me" when it came to his life. Hopefully Brian will move on now.
