Author's Response: Thank you! We definitely prefer storylines where there is peaceful co-parenting and friendship between the adults! It seems like it would provide a much more harmonious environment for Gus too, considering that he's a relatively well-adjusted kid in our universe. As for the Porsche, it's a rental, so Brian knows better than to take any chances! ;) -PTW

Nice seeing Mel and Brian getting along. Shame Gus didn't get to drive the Porsche when he and Brian went to pick Jennifer up from the airport.

Author's Response: Jennifer doesn't have any other grandsons (in this verse, Molly doesn't have kids yet), so I think she would enjoy the opportunity to have someone to dote on -- and Brian/Justin welcome it, considering his grandparents on the Kinney/Peterson sides! I grew up only seeing my grandparents 1-2x per year from when I was about 12 onward, and remained close with them, so I think it's just what you make of it :) Thanks, as always, for your great feedback, though! Great chapter! Gus and GiGi! It's amazing that they have that kind of relationship, considering that Gus spent almost his life in Canada and Jennifer might not have seen him so often.
It's hilarious how you describe Justin's sleeping habits.
