Mel is worried Jenny will end up spoiled, so that's one of the reasons she wants custody? Let's not forget the gravy train her daughter is. Maybe she should offer to let Gus buy her. She would be wealthy then.

Michael has passed delusional if he thinks Brian will give a rat's ass if he can't remember the last twenty-one years. This could prove very entertaining. They should all stand in front of a mirror and ask Michael to identify them and ask him what the age lines, gray hairs, or receding hairlines are about. Stand Gus next to Brian, and ask Michel who that is. In other words, play with him, until ha actually goes crazy.

I'm so glad Lucas appears remorseful and wants a relationship with Hank. Poor David, what's he going to do, when Daddy doesn't help him out financially? He, Michael, and Mel can all live in the gutter.

Using Ted as Hank's accountant is VERY smart.

It's great to read that Ben is making his way back to the family.

Surprising visit to Justin: I love how he puts his visitor in his place and dares speaking his mind.

Lucas Cameron better be serious about making amends to Hank or he will regret it and I hope he is serious about letting David fend for himself in the bed he made with Michael.

Mel should just give up and let Jenny have the chance to be free of the burden Mel and Michael heaped on her by not getting them what they want, Mel had a baby for all the wrong reasons just like Michael wanted to play Daddy for all the wrong reasons, now it is time for Jenny to be happy with Gus and Ian who love her for being her not their cash cow or a link to Brian.

Michael isn't stupid but he is idiotic if he thinks that this plan will work but it will be fun watching it play out as he loses more than he thinks.

Patrick is so easy to like that he makes anyone feel comfortable and worthy of being in his life because like his dads he doesn't crave attention for himself he would rather the spotlight was on someone more deserving, Ben shouldn't blame himself for not seeing what was happening to Lindsay he had his own problems to deal with and everyone missed how controlling Mel could be when she doesn't get her way.

Lindsay having a good day be talking to Patrick, Gus and Brian she even laughed the way she used too.

Three Blind Mice are about to have their tails cut off 😆

Thanks For the Update 😃

AMAZING chapter, StarBaby! If I write everything I'm feeling about it at this moment, I'll be here all day. So I'll just list the highlights from each scene and speak briefly about them.

  • The family dinner scene was absolutely wonderful. From Ben's reluctance to get out of the car, all the way through to the conversation about Michael, was long overdue. Patrick really is a testament to Brian and Justin's parenting skills. I really enjoy how 'normal' his interactions with everyone is.
  • Michael is the absolute DUMBEST imbecile alive! And Melanie isn't much better. When I'm with Brian...' I say let him keep playing FOOL to try to catch up to WISE. It's going to be great fun watching them both lose everything. Mel should just hand over custody now. And who knows, they might even be willing to pay her to fuck off so that she doesn't have a reason to ever darken their doorstep again. Ordinarily, I would never agree to something like that, but it seems a reasonable solution to the constant problem of money-hungry Mel since that's all she wants anyway in keeping custody of Jenny.
  • The visit to Lindsay was such a feel-good scene. I'm glad that she was having one of her good days, and seemed genuinely interested in Patrick's life. Her breakthroughs are definitely amazing and encouraging to behold.
  • Justin's interaction with Lucas was PRICELESS! First, Deb set the metaphorical fire to his ass, and then Justin extinguished it by not giving him an inch! I won't deny that I sat here cheering for Justin. The nerve of Lucas to think that WASP intimidation would work on Justin. He was born, bred and baptized in it; Lucas should have known better to even try. But all that aside, I'm glad that he's FINALLY ready to grow and change in the way he interacts with Hank. I'm also happy that he's ready to let David reap what he's sown when he married Mikey of the Man-child variety. Perhaps an old dog can indeed learn a new trick- one that David and Michael are in no way ready for- while rediscovering life outside of the WASP nest.
All in all, I can't wait for the next chapter!
HAPPY WRITING and HUGS, ~Chelle

Love this.   Lindsay sounds normal and Justin put Cameron Senior in his place.  Things are going good, just not for Melanie and Michael.  I have to lol thinking of Mikey acting like he's crazy in an attempt to get Brian's attention.  Brian is not stupid and has learned how to read Mikey.
