So sad to read the end of this amazing series -enjoyable though it was, as always. Has been a great journey and I loved each and every one of your introduced extended family and friends to Brian and Justin's  life together. This is an ending they thoroughly deserved after all these years, and love that you brought our QaF favs along for the ride. Looking forward to your next story and hoping there are many more to come xox

Author's Response:

I am thrilled to know that you enjoyed this series, Nickknack, especially the new characters I brought into Brian and Justin's world too.  I fell in love with my creations and will miss them as I move on to other stories.  I am hoping that you will join me soon, when I finally get back to my only other incompletd story, which I had started years ago, but had to pull at the same time I pulled this one.  Thank you so much for all your support of my work.  I am deeply grateful to you.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Thank you Grammy it was a great story with just the right amount of anxiety. The whole family is reunited and happy and even Bob and Mary are a part of it. Justin is 50 years old so Brian is 62 and they are still so hot! I liked that you made reference to their meeting and to that bottle of water poured on Brian which I think made me addicted to the show, it was as hot as it was then. It's sad to see the end of this story but I loved your serie. Bid hugs Grammy. Take care of you. Marie-France

Author's Response:

Thank you, Marie-France, for all your support of this story.  I wanted to end the entire series with a quick look-back at what brought our beloved boys to this very point in their lives.  I couldn't think of anything more iconic than that water bottle scene from the first night together.  I knew the show was going to be a hot one the moment I saw that scene, and boy was I right!  I really enjoyed recreating the scene for our boys to top off this story.

I am now hoping to finish the only other story that I left incomplete from years ago, before moving on to something new.  I hope you will join me then.  Please take care of yourself too.  Warm hugs, Grammy

Full circle.  Great ending to a very long saga.  A love that will never cease.  Enjoyed the whole trilogy.

Author's Response:

What wonderful comments, Sfscarlet.  A dozen years ago, I never thought that this story would grow as it did, but I enjoyed writing about Brian and Justin being Gus and JR's parents so much that I had to let it continue.  I can't thank you enough for sticking with this series, despite the length of time it took me to complete it.  I am very grateful for your support.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Fantastic ending.  Is there a story about how Brian and Justin ended up with Gus and JR. ?  I can't see Mikey letting Justin raise his little dumpling.

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you enjoyed the ending of this story, YumYum.  This particular story is only the third and final one of the Double Trouble trilogy.  The first story, titled Double Trouble' is the one which you must read in order to undetrstand how it all began, including how and when Brian and Justin became the parents of Gus and JR.  It also explains why Michael didn't step in to take over the raising of JR, who was about 13 years old to Gus's 17 years old at the time.  The second story in the series is titled, 'Double Trouble: Graduation', which picks up where the first story ended, when Gus is about to graduate from college and JR about to graduate from high school.  This final story, which you have read here, then picks up a few years later, after both Gus and JR have gotten married and are now wanting children of their own, making Brian and Justin grandparents.  I do hope you will check out the other two stories that came first and will enjoy them too.  Thank you so much for your support of my story.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Absolutely wonderful ending to a wonderful story.  As always, I am happy for a happy ending, but so sad to see the end of their journey. I will miss them. I did need the tissue box for this.  Fantastic writing.  Hopefully you are thinking of something new for us.  Wishing you well during these trying times.  All is well with me.  Take care and stay safe.   10+

Author's Response:

I am so glad to know that you are doing well, Mamab.  Health wise, my granddaughter and I are just fine, despite her having to go out in public to work almost every day.  She stays safe when doing so in order to keep me safe too.

I sometimes doubted that I'd ever finish this series, but was so happy to be able to finally complete it.  I will miss this family too.  I fell in love with many of the characters which I brought into the lives of Gus and JR and our beloved Brian and Justin.  I now have only one old story that I began long ago which isn't completed.  I'm planning on getting back to it now, so that I can honestly say I have never left a stoty incomplete.  Once that is done, I have a number of other stories brewing inside my head.  I will never be able to let QAF go entirely.  I fell in love with the QAF family 20 years ago and feel exactly the same today.

Thank you so much for all your support of my stories.  I truly appreciate it.  Huge hugs, Grammy

The babies are back home and together.  It looks like Marie won't have to worry about their son's college educations.

Author's Response:

I knew it was time to reunite the family and make them whole again.  The final chapter will reveal the future for all those involved in this part of the Double Trouble saga.  I hope you will enjoy it too.  Thank you for all your support, YumYum.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

Tissue box time.  What a wonderful chapter.  I knew that they would be ok, but needed to see it in print to be sure.  You are an amazing writer.  Hope all is going ok.  These are tough days, but we have to be tougher and do all we can to stay safe.  So many writers are not updating and while we miss their stories, it is more concern for them that I think about.  Just hoping and praying that all are doing ok.

Author's Response:

Your support has been invaluable, Mamab, and your caring is such a welcome thing to see.  I'm so glad you enjoyed this chapter, and hope the final chapter will be totally satisfying for you.

These are indeed stressful times, but I know that they will end someday.  We just have to hang in there and support each other with love and caring until that day comes.  I hope you are staying safe too.  With warmest hugs, Grammy

CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!!  Love them, hate them, but oh they make a great story.  You have to give Heather credit for her planning, but she still is a kidnapper.  Wonderful writing.  Hope all is good with you.  Cases spiking near me again so that is not good.  Take care. Stay safe.

Author's Response:

Heather is lucky to have the financial resources to use in order to hide her whereabouts, but she hadn't counted on the determination of Gus and Jason's family, especially Brian, to find her and bring her to justice.  She will have to watch her back very closely.

Thank you so much for your great comments, and for caring about me.  We are doing fine right now.  I live with my Granddaughter, and although she does have to go out to work, she practices safety very carefully, and I simply don't leave the house at all.  I hope all is going well for you and yours too.  Cases are spiking in our area too, but not as bad as some.  All we can do is hang in there and do the right thing to protect everyone.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Great plot addition to the story.  And the rope tightens around Heather and her lies.  Also, everyone, but Heather, knows that you don't cross Brian Kinney.  He will go to whatever extreme needed to protect what he loves.  Wonderful writing.  Now we need to get that baby boy home where he belongs.

Author's Response:

When I first thought of Marie, I didn't think of her husband at all.  Then I got to thinking how ironic it would be if the one friend Heather made could be the one to threaten her securitiy.  I'm so glad you like where I'm taking this story.  The next chapter will reveal just how important Marie's husband will be in making things right for Gus, Jason, and the entire clan.  Thank you so much for your delightful comments, Mamab.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Oh wow, tissue box time.  I knew that Heather wasn't honest.  Could just feel it. Now the fact she calls the baby Stevie shows she is clearly mentally ill.  Wonderful writing.  Hope all is well with you. Doing the best here that we can under these difficult times.  Take care and can't wait for the baby to return home.

Author's Response:

Yes indeed, Heather has let her grief control her actions to the point that she truly believes she is doing the right thing... bringing her beloved son back to her.  This, however, will not save her from the determined pursuit of the family in finding their missing baby.  The family will never be complete until the twins are back together where they belong.

We too are doing the best we can as we deal with the massive changes in our lives right now.  We are lucky, in that my Granddaughter is in an essential job so she hasn't had to struggle financially.  That alone is a huge blessing, so we are just hanging in there.  Hope you and yours stay safe and healthy too.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Author's Response:

A lot of readers were suspicious of Heather, and now they know how right they were.  Unfortunately, Gus and Jason wanted to be parents so badly that they didn't notice the red flags.  But, there is no way that the entire family will allow anyone to get away with stealing one of their own from them.  They'll do whatever it takes to reunite the twins.  Thank you for your very kind thoughts, and I hope you too are staying safe and healthy, Mamab.  More coming up as soon as possible.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Yikes, I knew Heather was up to something this entire time but I thought somehow she would renege on the deal and try to keep the babies, meaning she would be staying until a court case determined custody. Instead she is stealing away with Gus's son like a thief in the night and we now know this was her primary objective - it was always too good to be true :-(

Please update soon.

Author's Response:

Sadly, the strong desire to become parents overshadowed the warning signs for Gus and Jason.  Their trust has been betrayed in the worst way possible.  Heather had already signed over her rights to the boys, so she is now guilty of kidnapping.  I can promise you that the entire family will never give up on finding her and the baby until the twins are reunited.  The next chapter will reveal the story behind Heather's actions in full.  I'll get it out as quickly as I can.  Thank you so much for your wonderful comments, Nickknack.  Huge hugs, Grammy
