Hi there! A weekend trip away is a good excuse! I haven't left Berlin since nearly one year... It doesn't have to be a plane trip or something far away, but slowly I would also like to get out of here a bit again ...
Finally! What a beautiful chapter, at least towards the end! Fortunately, Justin decided to go to Brian and wait for him there! And luckily, Brian didn't bring anyone home! And I'm so happy that they were finally honest with each other. Justin opens up and explains everything to Brian at the risk of getting hurt. And Brian just takes the risk of getting involved with Justin one more time. and you reward them - finally. I hope the time of healing will finally begin and then hopefully happier days will finally come. Brian deserved it in any case (Justin, too, of course). But first Brian has to face his nightmares ... Yeah, it was great to get out of Dublin for a bit and to see something else for a few days. I can only recommend taking a trip for a weekend or a couple of days, if you can!
I am not planning any big plane trips for the moment. I won't get on a plane again before I am not fully vaccinated. I will definitely try to get home for Christmas again (just like last year) and hopefully, I'll be able to squeeze in another trip to see my family in September, but we'll see how the whole situation develops. With the new Delta variant, you never know :/ We might become a "Virusvariantengebiet" soon...with our connections to the UK (the border with Northern Ireland, tight economical connections, common travel area between Ireland and the UK), the Delta variant already makes up 20% of all Irish infections...

Yes, both boys overcame their fears and finally opened up about how they really feel! It's a beginning and definitely a step in the right direction. And yes, I promise that I won't split them up again. From hereon out, they will move forward together and will try to figure things out together :)
There will still be some issues that they need to work through, Brian's nightmares and his trauma being one of them, but they will be together for that, which is a comforting thought :)
