Hi! Thanks for another chapter! It was a great idea that you let this conversation take place between Brian and Jenny, because yes, even if Mel hasn't physically abused or hit Jenny or anything, not taking care of your child is also a form of neglect or abuse. Brian is probably the one who best empathizes with that. Oh, and like I mentioned in my previous review ... It must be hard for Jenni to go back to Mel after so much love and affection and attention. What strikes me is that in most of your stories there is a lot of drama until it calms down ... I am a little worried about the big bang, the big drama that is sure to come ... So, looking forward to the next chapter and stay healthy!

As you said, abuse isn't only physical and Brian grew up in a loveless home just like Jenny did as well, so I wanted him and Jenny to bond over that experience. I am glad that you liked their conversation. As you said, he's probably the one that can best empathize with her.
Maybe they can find a way around her having to return to Melanie. We can only hope for the best.
You know me so well ;) Yes, there will be quite a bit of drama coming up pretty soon. Maybe not necessarily in the way people are expecting, but we have some exciting chapters ahead!
